I have a broken tooth that is aching, I am concerned because I might very well be looking at a root canal! The only other option is to have it pulled, but then that might be rather noticeable to my smile instead.
Mike, I hope everything works out well for you regarding your tooth. I especially hope that the pain can be managed.

Sharon, I'm glad that you, Josh and Anoush had such a good time yesterday. And I hope that it continues today at church.

Sharon - just wanted to let you know that I watched, "Bucket List" earlier today.

I don't remember if you said you already had seen or if you are planning to do so in the future, so I until I hear back, I won't elaborate.

Oh Cool Sharon-Marie. No I have not seen it yet. But what was your overall impression?
My overall impression is a mixture of things. I think I'll wait till you see it before I say any more.

I love the little M& girl with the purple hat avatar. LOL!!
Thanks! I told someone in another thread yesterday that I felt like dressing up.

And then, (this is for Sharon-Marie when she peeks in) Anoush asked if there were Birks in the book!! LOL! I thought how proud Sharon-Marie would be of Anoush at that moment!
You have the most awesome and precious daughter-in-law anyone could ever have! I mean, anyone who wears Birks at her wedding has got to be some kind of cool! (I didn't even wear Birks at CS's and my wedding . . . what was up with that?! LOL)

Thanks Sharon-Marie, it is not too bad at the moment, however I will likely have to see a dentist very soon though. Probably sometime this week if it keeps acting up.

And Karlie, at the restaurant we went to tonight, they have a gift shop attached, and there was a cute set of measuring spoons based on shoes and purses LOL!!
Also saw a set with frogs.

Hmm...measuring spoons with frogs. Sounds like just the thing for DebbieLynne's sister.

Once upon a time when Deb and her sister were younger and her sister was kind of a tomboy, there came a blood curdling scream from her bedroom. Her Mom rushed in to discover Deb's sister standing on her bed calling out to have THAT THING taken away.

THAT THING was a small frog on the floor of her room.

The situation gave Deb and her Mom a chuckle and every now and again Deb just has to give a fog related gift to her sister as a reminder of that night.

Yup...frog measuring spoons. I'm sure she'd love 'em.

John and Deb, I went looking online to see if I could find a picture of the frog ones. I found everyone BUT the frogs one! Phooey, but found the Shoes and purses set.
The frogs are by the same company I'm quite sure. If you both are serious about it, I could go get them and send them to you. The price on them at the restaurant is $17.99 which I see is basically the price on sale at the website.
When I sees frogs, I think of Catherine (Cinderella) here in the forums. I have sent her frogs because of the Fully Relying On God.

Sharon-Marie, I am going to send your message to Anoush LOL!! She had her Birks on today when she came to help serve coffee hour this morning. That all went really well and it was good for the church family to be able to see and talk to Josh again.

I think of Kimberly when I see frogs (for the same reason that you think of Catherine)

Sharon, I'm glad things went well with them this morning; that's awesome!

Deb and John, I did find this for fun. The Frog Store

I actuallly did find two places that had the frog measuring spoons but you couldn't enlarge the picture and the size they had a pic of you really can't tell anything from it.

It was really nice Sharon-Marie. There was nice turnout too considering the service went waaaaay long. First Sunday for our new pastor AND communion.

When I got home, there was an email from Angie with pictures from her Dragon Boat day and that's where the avatar now is from.
I guess my sil helped man their table all day at the races. In Angie's words..."Mom Rocks!"

What a great store! Maybe they heard about Deb's sister and knew they should make things available for us to buy for her.

I see better ideas (read: "kinder to our budget") at The Frog Store. Then we could get her a "real" gift to keep her from killing us! Thanks for the link.

Joke gifts are great but also getting a nicer gift can keep one's sister (or sister-in-law) on speaking terms.

Deb you're welcome for the link I thought the same thing about a less expensive way to give a "joke" gift.

If anyone would like to take a few minutes...Today a young lady from our church, a former SS student is competing at USA World Showcase Competition. If you go to the link, in the second row of blue boxes with names, the far right box of the 2nd row has the name Nicole Kottke in it. If you click on her name, a new smaller window comes up and the first girl in the box sings. Then the second name and then Nicole sings. Competition We of course are all very proud of her. She has always been the little girl with the big voice in our church. She was just six years old when she first sang in front of us in church. (I think that's right about her age.)

This is not a good sign.

Maybe the pastor was just nervous and rambled too much or it slipped his mind it was communion this w/end.

But just exactly how long is 'waaaaay long'?
