Camping. Good for you. I have mixed feeling about camping.

Camping's not something I enjoy, but others do.

Will you be taking Alex along with you?

Yes we had a lot of fun. We did have Alex with us for part of the time. It was DD#1 and her family. Plus DD#2 and grandson were visitors on two days. Also some friends were camping there too.

I took the bicycle and put quite a few miles on it. The weather was nice, but the sun was quite harsh. Tooshy got a sunburn on her face. I used the SPF-50 sunscreen and stayed in the shade as much as possible. Even with all of that I nearly sunburned. It's amazing how much exposure to the sun can tire you out.

They did have smores, but I stayed away from them.

Hi Ray, glad you had a good time! I have used SPF 70, and still have gotten sunburned in the past as well.

Okay, fellas, after about SPF 45 there is no point. You're paying for NOTHING...

That number means you can stay in the the sun that many times longer than without sunscreen. After about 45, you've usually washed/sweated off any and all sunscreen and should reapply anyways....

Ray, I'm really glad you had a good time away. Good to have you relaxing.

Good for you keeping away from the s'mores. I'm not keen on marshmallows, so that would have been easy for me anyway, but other things might not have been so easy.

Hi Ray!

Yup, after 45 it's pointless. The key really is to reapply every hour or so, especially if you swim or sweat. But I'm glad you had fun! But I'm going to eat healthy with you starting from today...consistently. I had a huge dinner last night. Pasta, appetizers, dessert and lots of bread. Had a dinner with co-workers.

oy!

I feel like fasting.

My father get sunburned really easily. which is why he does not like the beach. Which is kinda ironic...

Mashmallows would be really bad because of the hight glycemic index. They're just about pure sugar.

If I ate that much my blood sugar would be back up in the 400-500's again. Even if I have one extra carb it shows up in the next reading. Glad for the monitor because it keeps me honest.

Say, maybe we should give those monitors to all the inmates and let em loose.

WOW, wouldn't that be cool if something could work like that?
