I received a note from a friend this morning and I would like to ask prayer for my friend and the family. I do not want to go into details but just lift a prayer for a family much in need of God's guidance during a difficult time.

I am joyful with you that your prayers for your father's homegoing were answered, but am very sorry for the pain you are experiencing from this loss. I am continuing to pray for you and your family.

Y'all, please remember to pray for Mike, Cindy and Mrs. Kerr today. His father's Receiving of Friends will be this evening between 6pm - 8pm, with the funeral following at 8pm (and the graveside service will be tomorrow at 11am).

I just want to thank God for how He works and how faithful He is. Sometimes you have requests and you ask people to pray either here or privately and it's so awesome to see God as He begins to work.
I know in some situations it's hard at times for us to remember things didn't get to certain points in a minute or a day so they seldom or going to be corrected as quickly as we would like them to be. But as you see God's hand begin to move you can be encouraged and know that He is still in control!
Thank you to each person who prays for the requests, you are being used by Him to bless others.

I can say I've definitely seen the results of all of the prayer warriors praying over my requests. My husband made a comment the other day about how the last few weeks everything worked out better than we thought it could...he said these have been a couple great weeks lately. I told him that's because folks have been praying for us! Sometimes you can see immediate results and other times it takes a while but in the end we have seen major answers. Thank you all!!!

Keep the Kerr's in your prayers this afternoon during visitation at 6:00 and the funeral at 8:00. Also the burial will be at 11:00 in the morning.

I just now heard that today in NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER so I think we should all be in prayer for our country, its leaders, our troups, and anyone that I have forgotten.

At about 7:00AM this morning, just about 20 miles from where I live there was an accident involving a Pendleton County School Bus and a dump truck. A sixteen year old student at Pendleton County High School was killed. Ten other students and two adults received minor injuries. The name of the student who was killed has not yet been released. Please keep this young mans family and friends in your prayers.

What a terrible thing! I'm praying for that family and the students who will surely be affected.

My grandmother fell today. She broke her hip, and apparently there's a "gash", to use my mother's words, on her head that requires surgery. I'm waiting on more info, and my family will probably be there tomorrow.
