We're getting ready to leave for the hospital. Everyone, please remember to pray for hubby, Gene, as he does the Cardiac Cath thing this morning at 9am. I'm told they have WIFI at the hospital, so if I can get on the net, I'll let you know how it goes.

It appears that Gene had 2 blockages - about 70-80% in each. So now they're doing the stents. We should be talking to the 2nd doctor (that is doing the stents) within about 30 minutes. I guess Gene (and Donna) will be spending the night tonight here in the hospital. Y'all keep praying, please!

According to her blog on gaithernet.com, Sheri Easter has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is meeting with a surgeon today. Let's all please remember her in prayer today and going forward in this battle.

We pray for your comforting arms and healing hands around and upon your precious children facing surgery, procedures and decisions today. We know that it is not your will that any should suffer, but that in an imperfect world there is sickness and suffering, and we ask your presence and peace to surround each one.

I received an email from Chad that Carson had come through the surgery & was resting. He should be comming home in several days. I beleive this will be the first of several surgeries that Carson will face, so let us keep all of the family in our prayers for a complete healing.

Noticed on the Singing News home page that Tony Greene was hospitalized and was to have surgery to put a dialysis port in his stomach to begin Peritoneal dialysis. This will be a temporary procedure untill he has his kidney transplant. Tony was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure seven years ago. His kidney function now is less than 10%.
Please pray for Tony and his family. He is to have a kidney transplant soon.

Thank you to the many who have sent pm's, e-mail's etc... Surgery was successful on Monday 6/30/08. Came home Thursday 7/3/08, still a lot of pain but improving with time. Thanks again for your many prayers, God Bless You All! Marty Brewer

He's home and so far so good, but his mom is a little nervous that the condition might return.

Also, Ed sent Alicia a text message saying he wanted to go ahead and sign the settlement papers. They are set for Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 pm EDT. Neither of us will be surprised if he doesn't show or doesn't sign. It's all about control and pulling her chain. But it would be a huge answer to prayer to get at least this step behind us!
Thank you again for your faithfulness to pray! And for those that didn't see it on the Praise thread, Alicia and I sang together at church last Sunday, she played the piano and we did "I've Come To Take You Home". Seeing her in church, using her talent and smiling again is one of the biggest blessings ever!

). That's seemingly what was making her not feel good. The vet could find nothing else wrong, and didn't want to do X-rays because he wasn't sure where he should x-ray. If she gets bad again, then they are to bring her back and X-rays may be taken then. When I left the Grandparents' she was back to her bouncy and playful self!
