Hiya, Trish! Well, my workouts concentrate on strengthening my knees and ankles for my trail hike in July, as well as working on my general strength and endurance. So, I'm doing a lot of cardio time, either an hour on the treadmill with the incline turned up or 35 minutes on the elliptical trainer. Then, I do exercises with weights for my knees and arms, presses for my shoulders and arms, work with free weights, and ball squats and curls. Then if I was using the elliptical, I go back to the treadmill for another 25 minutes or so to work it on a hill program which increases the incline over and over again. Usually works out to about 90 minutes all told. Geez, makes me tired just reading that...... I don't do the weights every workout, that's 2 or 3 times a week. But I try to get the cardio in 5 or 6 days a week, and I do stretches after every workout.

I do leg crunches, stationary bike, pilates machine, hip machine, all purpose gym (weights), treadmill, cross trainer which is the same as your elliptical trainer and ball squats. Takes about 90 minutes for my workout. We're changing things around though depending on how well my body deals with things.

I'm not that fit yet.

Hmmmmmm......not a lot of chat going on here, huh? Today's going to be busy. (I can hear y'all now, saying "when ISN'T it busy?") I have my group this morning, then the rest of the day will be getting stuff ready to help my church's Relay for Life team get ready for tonight. I will bake and make signs today, then help them set up their tent over at the school this afternoon. But tonight, I'll be elsewhere, due to previous plans. Oh, yeah, rehearsal, then I'm meeting back up with my group buddies to watch Monty Python and eat!

How was your small group, Darcy? Were you in the hot seat today, or somebody else?
