Only 3 more days until my trip. I'm telling my husband tonight via e-mail that he'll probably read in the morning. Please pray that his temper won't get too out of control.

I am feeling so far away from God ... I desperately want to draw close to him but am struggling to do that. Reading my bible is like a chore and my prayer life is dry and unfulfilling. Please pray! I am hoping that the Holy Spirit will move in my husband's heart this Christmas season, but I can't seem to pray for this. Thank you!

I have an unspoken prayer request. God already knows the need.

I just sent an e-mail to my husband that we're leaving, so dd and I really need prayers. He'll read it in the morning.

My dd in college is lonely and sad. She is home for the night but leaves again tomorrow afternoon.
Please pray for her walk and that she will continue to lean on Him as she has in the past.

Also, my divorced friend is dating an unsavory fellow and I am worried about her and her kids safety.
She is an unbeliever and needs much prayer in this also.

Just heard from my MIL.
The doctor called to tell her the PET scan showed a tumor in her lung and a "shadow" on her liver.
Need prayer for her and the Wells family.

I posted this in the main prayer folder, but I'd like it to be here as well.

Some friends of ours flew out to California last month to adopt their 3rd child. After birth they found out the child has two congenital heart defects. The birth parents are still going to sign the release papers, but because of the baby's medical condition there have been some complications with the adoption process. So the dad is here in Georgia with their older 2 children, and the mom is California with the baby.

First and foremost please pray for the health of the wee baby. The next concern will be cost of the baby's care. Insurance may get tricky, as this is an adoption case. Also, please pray for this young family that is now separated during the holidays. They are hoping the baby will be released to return to Atlanta, and he will have his heart surgery here in Georgia. They are hoping to be together for Christmas, even if the baby needs hospital care here in Georgia.

Normally, I don't worry about things and I'm not necessarily worried...I am having a total body/bone scan done this afternoon and while I know that it is non-invasive and simply a diagnostic test, I don't like needles and I'm having a hard time getting past the "it's rare for someone to be allergic to the isotopes that are injected into your body". I know God knows the outcome of this test; it's just me nerves, I think.

Please pray for calmness since part of this test requires me being able to remain perfectly still for a while. And that the results are not worse than I am expecting.

Thank you for your prayers.

Hey, everyone. I'm battling some real discouragement lately. I haven't been feeling well since last Friday, though today the antibiotics seem to be kicking in. Still, I'm behind in my school work, and this is finals week. Also, I'm still in a spiritual slump that I want so badly to be out of. I remember days when I was just so hungry for His Word, and now my Bible sits, nearly untouched except for a few short minutes every few days. Please remember me in your prayers if you would.

Please pray for our business. We are barely making ends meet (business and personal bills) and we either need more business to come our way or we need to start getting things together to sell it.

We're in the search for a new church this weekend and probably for several to come. Please pray we will have wisdom and listen to what God is saying about where we should go.

I have found temp. employment. The owners have offered to hire me on perm. The owners are Christians. However, they are doing something illegal and I am torn between keeping this job and moving on to something different.

A quick update on my last prayer request ... we had a wonderful trip, albeit short. The flights were great and relatively stress free for me. Thank you for your prayers!

I don't see Brandi posting in this thread ...

Not sure if you all know, but she lost her MIL recently. Her husband is struggling with his faith as a result. Brandi is pregnant with their first child (I think it is her first ...)

Please be praying!

We are having a real hard time.
Ricks mother has cancer.
Her doctor called her yesterday to tell her there are "lesions" on her liver from the breast cancer 14 yrs ago along with the tumor in her lung.
They can't get a biopsy from either place because of where they are positioned.
She is stressed to the limit and is short of breath all the time and called Rick last night crying.

Rick is not handling this at all.
We are fighting, his ex wife is causing problems with the transfer of the girls over Christmas (Rick wants to get them to his mom and ex wife is causing a stink).

Just need a lot of prayer.
