I missed last night's episode. Can someone give me a summary of what happened? Thank you!

Do you have high speed internet? You can watch it on SciFi Rewind.

Honestly, you didn't miss much. I didn't care for the episode. Starbuck finds a cyclon ship with one survivor, Leoben. He wants to team up to fight the other cylons and find Earth. The crew is ready to mutiny, as they are supposed to rejoin the fleet. Baltar is gaining more and more power. The chief sides with Baltar and ignores his crying child some more. dH said that the Nicky character really bothers him. We have a 13 month old boy, and to see a child given so little love, so ignored, is very unpleasant.

Last night's episode ("Faith" May 9th) was one of the best ever. This season has been consistently good so far, but that one was the first time it reached the heights of the debut of Season three. If the woman who plays the president isn't nominated for an Emmy (and she won't be), there's no justice in the world.

Mary McDonnald plays President Roslin, and Mary herself lost her sister to cancer. That was a killer episode; I'm really happy to see the plot starting to move along. The last scene between Roslin and Adama was amazing. It's startling how many times a man may tell a woman he loves her, without actually saying the words.

Right now this is one of the best things about the show. Ronald D More, the executive producer and creator of the modern BSG, agrees with you about this. I sometimes listen to the podcasts, which are his personal commentaries of an episode. Time and time again, he has said that the Laura/Bill relationship is one of, if not his favorite thread of this season. All the more heartbreaking and ironic, that in many ways the cancer is both pushing them together and ripping them apart. I've spoken with some people who've been affected by cancer themselves, and they were in tears during many of the scenes between Mary McDonald and Nana Vistor (from Deep Space Nine).

Yes, it's bizarre that one of the better depictions of a character dealing with cancer on TV comes from a Sci-Fi show . This show never ceases to surprise me, though. It's the only thing I watch on TV right now(Except for the office), which says a lot as I usually hate both TV dramas and TV sci-fi shows.
