While the refs may have been suspect, the Canes did not play their game against the Caps. Bounced back against the Bolts and need to beat the Kitty Kats on Friday to win the SE.

What a big game the Capitals have for Saturday night!

If we win, we will be seated at #3! and be division champs! To go from so far behind to this!

If we lose, they will be playing golf next week.

The Canes simply didn't finish. They had 46 shots on goal as opposed to 17 for the Kats. They had 9 power plays as opposed to none (one goal on a delayed penalty) for Kats. They had several 5 on 3 situations and didn't score. They allowed the Kats on short-handed goal on a breakaway.

Ward showed the strain of starting at least 25 consequtive starts. Cullen should of stayed on IR as with Williams and Witney. Lavi deserves some of the blame in breaking up the chemistry the team had developed with the invasion of the River Rats.

Congrats in advance to the Caps on winning the SE. Now I guess I will pull for Ottawa in the playoffs considering Comadore and Stillman are with that team.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

The just posted the schedule for round one of the play offs for the Capitals vs Flyers......

I won't be able to go to any of the games, unless they go to game 7!!!!

We planned other activities for the month of April... way back in the winter (when there was no hope for such games!) and now... I'll be at my church's ladies retreat in WV Friday thru Sunday...when are the first two games for us?... Friday and Sunday! The next two games are in Philly.. then game 5 would be on Sat in DC... we're visiting out of state colleges for my dd2!!!! UGH!!!

I'm so upset!!!!!

Thanks for letting me vent!

OL,

If you can get tickets, get 'em for game seven. There is nothing like the energy for those games. Should the Caps make the SC finals, and host a game seven do you can to secure some tickets, including selling your kids. Well, maybe not that far.

btw, what happened to ryn

Already have em!!!

already ahve them for the entire series.... they make season ticket holders buy the entire four rounds... then credit them back for next year's tickets...

I only missed 3 home games all year! that's what makes this sad for me!!!

The Canes made us STH buy only the first and second rounds. If they would have made it to the second round, we would have had to cough up for the third and fourh ones

Since they didn't make the playoffs my tickets are worthless scraps of paper. But the money from them is a deposit of my season tickets for next year. Can't wait until the Canes reach a point where there is a waiting list for season tickets.

The Penguins looked great against Ottowa tonight.

Now the Sharks have to deal with Calgary...

As much as I want to see the Sens win because of their Cane factor, they will be fortunate not to get swept.

let's hope that the predators can steal a victory today in detroit. detroit in last couple of seasons looked a team that didnt care if they won in the playoffs but thursday they looked like a determined team, something i havent seen in awhile. we will see what kind of intensity detroit puts out today. GO PREDS!!!!!

Looks like the playoffs haven't been kind to either CA team so far. Your Sharks are in better shape to tie the series than the Quackers.

There is nothing like a game 7 of an NHL playoff game. For game 7 of the Stanley Cup no one sat for the entire game. You could almost feel the building shake when the buzzer sounded and the confetti started to fall. Save some enegry should the Caps win, you will need it when they play the Pens.

I never thought I'd be saying this but "Go Flyers in Round 2"! Also go Pens, Sharks and Wings!

Never liked the Habs.

Looks like the Stars are going to eliminate both CA teams. Oh well. Still go Flyers! Win two more! Knock out them Habs!

Yep, we are down 3-1 to the Stars. Medano is giving us fits. We can't even kill a penalty Dallas just scored on a power play, so the Sharks might be finished...

The Red Wings wiped out the Avs; giving up 8 goals is downright humiliating.

Would love to see the Sharks and the Habs take it to game 7. That said, wouldn't mind a Sharks-Habs final

A Pens/Flyers series would be great as the two teams hate each other. Much as the Slugs/Canes hate each other. Or, more precisely, the Canes' fans hate the behavior of a certain group of Slugs fans.

Pitt and Philly fans don't get along? Sorta like the Sharks-Ducks rivalry, eh?

We gotta get the puck past Turco tonight, and Campbell needs to STOP TURNING THE PUCK OVER!!
