How long are they going to do hour long episodes for? Is it just the first 2 weeks?

I think miasma mentioned about 5 episodes. I know this coming Thurs is an hour episode. I really like the hour episode so I wish they'll keep it that way.

They are way too self-consciously "cute." It's sickening.

I don't like Pim or Jam either and hope they focus more on the other characters this year. We need to see more of Toby, Phyllis, and Creed. Oh and the other 2 guys in accounting. I love the big guy.

do you mean the two guys in shipping and receiving? the ones with the poster of Jan last year? I can't think of any guys in accounting. Angela is in accounting, and maybe Kevin and Oscar.

I think she means Kevin and Oscar......Kevin being the big one. He is funny.

Our Taget store had a bunch of 'office' stuff in the $1 bins (when you first walk in). I got a bunch of pens and pencils and note pads. I'm such a goober for $1 bins.

I agree.

I've never found Creed funny, but I do think there's room for them to start developing the other characters some more.

I think the guy from the Daily Show with anger issues has potential (can't recall his name). I've always liked Toby as well.

Ah! my mistake, sorry. I thought she meant Darryl and those guys since they are not on much.

I was talking about Kevin. But I wouldn't mind seeing more of the warehouse guys either. One of my favorite episodes is when the warehouse manager teaches Michael how to speak "black".

jodavi -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (10/11/2007 11:42:44 PM)

I was laughing so hard in the opening scene when Michael was having his meeting and they were all looking at the DVD icon floating on the TV screen...oh my gosh...I can't stop laughing -- that was way too funny [:D]
Jim and Pam has opened the door for new romances in the office. Angela and Andy? I thought Andy had a thing for her a few episodes back already. Poor Dwight. Kelly and the guy from the warehouse.

I didn't like the Jim & Pam thing at first either. But now I am excited at the possibilities for further character development in the others. So much of the show was focused on Jim and Pam, will they or won't they? Now they have so it leaves room for others.

The thing that makes that so funny for me is that I have done that with a similar screen saver. Always waiting for it to it the corner perfectly, and it never does. I was just as happy as they were to see it do that last night.

I don't think that Dwight & Angela are completely done yet. I think Angela really just wants Dwight to admit he was wrong and insensitive. An Angela/Andy relationship would be a rebound for Angela with the intention of making Dwight jealous. As for Darryl and Kelly, not sure if it will become a relationship, but I could see Darryl becoming her new crush.
I do like how Ryan's party completely backfired on him, and it seems he may not be in as good of grace with the boss as has been implied in previous episodes. You noticed how he was kicked out of the office doing the headshot for the camera?

TammyIsBlessed -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (10/13/2007 12:20:20 AM)

This episode was hilarious. I laughed almost the whole time.[:D]

KatMack -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (10/19/2007 4:39:03 PM)

Has Kelly always been this psycho? She was downright crazy last night... but I did laugh still [8D].

Wayfaring_Stranger -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (10/19/2007 6:13:54 PM)

A lot of great moments last night...

" I declare BANKRUPTCY!!!!"

"I LOVE Italian food."

Jim kissing Pam. Aww.

“Daryl is the most complicated man I know. I mean who actually says what they mean?”

Jim attempting to comfort Dwight: "I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. And that includes you."

BeckeyZ -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (10/20/2007 3:21:20 PM)

LOL! Dwight sounds like a wookie when he cries.

Oh, and his B & B!!!! Mose cracks me up.

Did Andy give Angela the same cat that Dwight tried to give her?

And Michael singing 'Runaway Train'.....

I did laugh through the whole show - this one was excellent.

Faun_Tumnus -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (10/20/2007 6:59:11 PM)

I liked how this episode hit on relationships in the office. Some people on my Yahoo Office fan group were down on it for that reason, but I felt they gave us just enough.

First, Jim and Pam, happy together. I could not believe that Pam actually booked a room with Dwight! Their first weekend away, spent with Mose (when he was running by the car, i could not stop laughing).

Second, Angela and Dwight, so over. Dwight miserable, Angela cold. And in swoops Andy... this is going to be interesting.

Third, Kelly and... well, still resentful over Ryan, she's totally using Darryl, and he is putting up with a lot. I liked how he told her to call him when she found her sanity! Man, she keeps going deeper and deeper in to self-absorption.

Finally, Michael and Jan. That scene on the train was really cool. Jan may be messed up, but she realizes that Michael stood by her and has supported her craziness.

Favorite line: "I Declare Bankruptcy!"

Miss Giggles -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (10/20/2007 11:05:21 PM)

I think it was the same cat, because when Dwight tried to give her the cat and she wouldn't take it, he just threw the cat down. So now they found it outside next door. LOL

The bankruptcy and Oscar trying to help him with the power point of his expenses "that no one should ever have" was funny

miasma -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (10/21/2007 12:28:49 AM)

I'm tired of Jan.

Love Andy and Angela.

Like Jim and Pam, but they've been my least interested-in story line from the beginning.

Love Darrell - and yes, Kelly's always been this nuts.

rrtt11 -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (10/22/2007 7:32:59 PM)

I am going to have to go back and rewatch it. I did not like it on first viewing but usually appreciate it more on the second.

Only Michael and Creed maybe more crazy than Kelly. They mean well but Kelly is an giddy insane person who seems capable of anything. Very funny.

This show really needs an hour because of the complexity of the stories. 20 minutes without commercials is just way too short.

Faun_Tumnus -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (11/2/2007 12:47:10 AM)

I thought that this week's episode was stronger at the beginning than then end. Watching Jim trying to tame Michael and Dwight was the best part of the episode. When Dwight was (ahem) relieving himself I nearly did the same thing accidently because I was laughing so hard.

But the Jim-Karen confrontation was weak. Jim may be sure about Pam, but he still feels really bad about his breakup with Karen - he can barely hold a conversation with her.

I didn't get the whole Finer Things Club. I think Toby is there mostly because of his crush on Pam.

And good for Stanley - I'm glad he stayed.

jodavi -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (11/2/2007 8:31:32 AM)

'thought that was the first time I've seen Stanley smiled...ever!

ThinkingMom -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (11/2/2007 9:02:06 AM)

I enjoyed last night's episode, for the most part, but I'm sick of the whole Jim/Pam/Karen thing. I was hoping Jim wouldn't participate in Michael and Dwight's scheme, but it did end up being pretty funny.

miasma -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (11/3/2007 1:10:54 PM)

"The eyes are the groin of the head."

I want a finer things club!!

henny -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (11/5/2007 3:53:48 AM)

That was the best episode so far this season.

Dwight getting "Cut" on the lid of the can (That's all I'll say [8|] ) and the whole prank thing. [:D]

I liked the "finer things club" too.

None of it made any sense, but that's what was good about it. The shows have been too "realistic" lately.

KatMack -> RE: The Office: Season 4.. Yea (11/9/2007 1:35:36 PM)

Having just started watching Survivourman, last night's epi was particularly funny to me. I LOVED the whole thing with Jim becoming Michael. I don't think I'll ever look at either character quite the same.
