poof... the thread makes a comeback: now your wishes will be ruined.

It's snowing in Seattle. I wish it will be warm and nice Sat. so I can work in the yard.

It's a beautiful Saturday in Seattle! You get tons of yard work done! And then on Sunday you're so sore you can hardly move.

I wish my teenagers thought I was as smart as they thought I was when they were little.

***-Poof-*** Your teenagers know you are smart and they are foolish and can't do anything right, so you might as well go do all the chores yourself.

I wish my college age son didn't play the <to dumb to know how> card when it comes to cleaning up his stuff.

%%% Poof %%% You have WIFI but you have to sit in the middle of the street to get more than two bars of reception.

I wish I had a 2nd cup of coffee

POOF - You drive up to starbucks, order your 2nd cup of coffee and then spill it all over your lap as you drive away.

I wish it would snow 1 foot so I didn't have to go to work tomorrow - even though it's 50 degrees out right now.

Poof. He's retired. Too bad he lost all those benefits from not working that last month.

I wish I could write a really great book.

*---Pooof---* You have a best seller and are exhausted from book tours and signing gigs. And your publisher is on you to get the next book written ASAP>

I wish I would have a bit more time to read my current good book.

poof....good news: you broke a leg and your husband had to go on a business trip. You have plenty of time to finish the book.

Wish I had something exciting to read.

***poof**** Your yard work is done. Your yard is now covered in rocks and brambleberry bushes. So no maintenance is needed. It attracts snakes and lizards now.

I wish my yard work was done too!

****poof**** You're not tired anymore because you drank a couple of cans of that high energy drink. Now you are cleaning on top of the roof and the eavestroughs too. Your house is shining now. But you won't be able to sleep for a week.

I wish I could get something done outside but there's a cold wind outside right now.

I wish my breakfast sausage biscuit tasted better.

poof....you're kidnapped by mad terrorists from the local high school band. After a week of no food, you escape and eat the rest of that biscuit. Now it tastes great to you!

I wish I had a new car.

*---Poof---* You have a nice new shiney car. But you don't want any scratches or finger prints on it and you park on the far side of the parking lot or leave it in the driveway.

I love my job but I still wish I had more energy at the end of the day.

***poof*** you have more energy at the end of the day but your husband's tired of you chasing him around the house all the time.

I wish I could do as God commanded and be content in all things and persevere and have a firm faith.
