Definitely! I have never heard the name Xanthea, and I think it is gorgeous. Lexie is my middle name and my first name isn't THAT common (it's also more of a boys name) but I still want my children to be the only one's in their class with their name, especially since we have a VERY common last name.

When we named Akeelah, my husband's sister said "oh so Lexie let you give your kid an African name." I was like, "let him? I'm the one that picked it!" There are some African names (like Akeelah and Zahra) that I think are so beautiful, though I know others may not agree with me.

Sarah - I hope the pain goes away soon. Do you experience clicking in your jaw?

yup...every time I open my jaw it pops...so every time I talk or eat or anything. That part doesn't hurt...I am very used to it...but once or twice a year it flairs up and starts to swell and hurt. Usually it passes in about two weeks. This time just started, so I am pretty sure it will get much worse this next week.

I don't grind my teeth...ever...never have. I don't have a clue if it is connected to TMJ though. Mine does pop all the time though...like I said above, every time it moves it pops. That doesn't hurt though...or if it does I don't notice cause it's all the time.

Status: offline 		I'm going to have to check out your links when I have more time. My jaw clicks all the time on both sides. My doctor always said it was normal so long as there was no pain. Few times I get a dull pain, but it's nothing to write home about (but write about here!)

Furry or woolley children are the closest I'll be getting to kids. Looks like Bailey's the closest thing I've got to a child right now.

no I don't. never heard of that.

today it actually feels better then it did yesterday, so maybe this time it won't be that bad of a flair up. I really don't need it...I already can't et on the right side of my mouth very well (food gets stuck there and I don't have muscle movement in my tongue or cheek very well so it's hard to get things unstuck from that side) and this affects the left side of my jaw the most. So it's a pain to eat...and of course I am pregnant and hungry all the time anyway.

LOL....our kids don't tend to get sick very often...not sure if that's because they aren't in school or day care or simply because they just don't get sick. I don't hardly ever get sick either....hubby only does when his allergies are kicking in (pollen allergies mostly). Jack is still congested, but draining clear so we ventured out to go to a new church. It again wasn't for us. Will we ever find a good church here that is family oriented AND isn't deader then a cemetery?

We found a guy selling local honey on the side of the road so we were able to get a jar!!! We have been looking for it for month and never could find any...but the guy told us where his store is so when we run out we can go there to get some next time!!! Local honey is for hubby's allergies...they tend to not be as bad if he uses local honey (usually in a cup of tea) every day. We were even able to find it in the raw state!!! Even better cause then it contains even more of the pollen from this area...much better for allergies!!!

Status: online 		That makes total sense about the local honey and I never would have thought of it!! Thanks for sharing that.

We went to the local flea market today and poked around...mostly over crowded and kind of grody...but the fresh produce was fabulous, we came home with strawberries, and they are so good! I love strawberry season around here.

it's old as the hills...literally. My parents grew up in the mountains of East TN...the back woods...and there it is used as a medicine and has been for centuries. A friend of my parents went to visit there when I was a teen, and he had horrible allergies to that area...so my dad told him to find a sign saying "Local Honey" and get some. He said when he finally found a place he was sneezing his head off, and the lady met him at his car with a spoon and a jar...lol...he must have looked just dreadful!!!! Within two or three days of doing a table spoon a few times a day (like you would medicine) it kicked in and he was feeling much much better. He then went down to one tablespoon a day and never had any trouble. A few years later when he moved up there that's one of the first things he got...local honey.

It is great isn't it!!!! Plus, if you don't really like the taste (don't ask me why, but my hubby doesn't...weird, I know) then you can put it in tea or something. A nice hot cup of tea in the evening with a spoonful of honey in it...ahhhhhh....very relaxing!!!

Hubby's dad had prostate cancer a few years ago, so he had me researching things for him. According to what I have found, the best to avoid as much as possible problems in that area (and esp if you have a family history of problems) then you need to beef up on your cooked tomatoes. Any way they are prepared...in sauces, canned, whatever.The cooking process releases something in them that is natural and seems to help with prostate problems and helps to prevent prostate cancer.
