I made it home and that's about all I can say! After having been up for 20 hours, I was tired! Even after TWO cups of strong coffee!!

If I were up for 20 hours straight, it would take more than 2 cups of coffee.
I'm thinking a caffeine injection.

I would have settled for someone in the passenger seat punching me in the arm at least once every two minutes! I downed all the coffee I could before I left.

And guess what?? We wanna do this again!!

My technique is to set the cruise on, play music loud and move around a lot.

You know eventually that stops working.

My technique is to (at my first stop) get a red bull (or something similar) and down it quickly. Usually about ten seconds. We did this in Iraq to stay awake on the 12 hour days (every day).

Not that we did this every day. Red Bull's are expensive. But we did it when we could.

I am a little leery of those heavy caffeine drinks. Sometimes after drinking a lot of caffeine I can feel my heart racing. So I am very carefull about that.

I don't drive more that 11 to 12 hours at a time, before I stop for the night. I will stop and walk around every few hours too.

Sure! Just take your trusty baseball bat with you.

You are a smart man. Caffeine is definitely bad for your heart. I do it occasionally but try not to become dependent on it (which means I don't do it often). I have to stop and walk from time to time when we're traveling too. I love to travel but I think arms and legs need to move.

I'll admit it. I'm hooked on caffeine. Next week I'm supposed to go an entire week without any soft drinks on the job. I know of at least one bet placed between two others as to whether I can make it.

I do drink caffeine too, every day. I just try to avoid those extra caffeine drinks.

Tina, I don't like to drive cross country at night. But when you have to do it, you have to do it.

To think I intended to leave at 9pm, but we were having so much fun I just couldn't stand to leave! Glad I made it home safely though. I must have had angels around my vehicle! Next time I go (and Sony expressed interest in doing this again) I will come prepared to spend the night if need be!

Good idea. Traveling is easier during the daylight hours and after resting.

I just sent Mark, her piano player an email to ask. He told me before he would be in Revival.

Mrs. C. and I got to meet for the first time Dinana, GVFan, JimC, Jchaz and Mr. Scripture. Already knew Qtman, RobertYork and jlpoll. Have not been awake too long so may have forgotten someone but hope not.

ETA....I think I saw Big Chief there also but he did not introduce himself. I guess he is shy.
