Dinana -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (12/31/2007 6:42:40 AM)

That's the song they ended with last night, Santa -- except that they then decided to sing just the reprise of "I Know I'm Going Home", which is also a big crowd-pleaser! I'll write up all my comments and get them posted a little later.

danielmount -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (12/31/2007 6:56:09 AM)

I'm really looking forward to it!

Scottie and Clayton Inman sang "He Is" at church this morning. They do it better evertime I here them sing that song. Got a standing ovation and you just don't hardly ever get a standing ovation during our regular church services for a song.
This is one of my favorite songs. (And for whatever reason, I cannot remember who I first heard sing it . . . I've been trying to remember every since last night).

They did an absolutely wonderful job of singing it last night; it was so beautiful and so completely worshippful.

DJSfromCleveland -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (12/31/2007 10:00:19 AM)

I'm not sure if i can make that concert of theirs in Hartiville, OH, but really hope i can.

All depends on work schedule, if i have money then, and our winter weather.

It was Aaron Jeoffrey. That's where I first heard the song. I got used to that rendition, and so TQ's has taken just a little getting used to.

I think that may be who I'm thinking of. I couldn't find an audio clip though, so I'm not completely sure. From my memory though, I didn't notice a big difference in either rendition.

It truly is an absolutely amazing song.

Joe_9 -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (12/31/2007 1:44:31 PM)

I am hoping they will make it up to Northeast Tennessee soon. My prayers are with them. Be safe guys.

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (1/7/2008 2:26:47 PM)

For some reason the Jan. 27th concert is now scheduled for:
Jan. 27 7:00 PM Valley Grove Baptist Church Knoxville TN
For more infomation call: 865-577-6620

I believe this is Jeff Stice's home church.

Dinana -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (1/7/2008 2:27:45 PM)

You're right, Santa, that is Jeff's church.

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (1/7/2008 2:36:13 PM)

Not sure why it was changed from my home church which is the other 4 guys home church also.
Oh well, still hope to make it. Although it lists it as Knoxville, which is probably the mailing address, we say it is in Seymour.

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (1/9/2008 11:06:50 AM)

I saw on a sign at our church this morning (FBC, Sevierville) that Greater Vision will be there Jan. 27th. Same date as I thought Triumphant was originally scheduled to be there. But now Triumphant will be in Seymour at Jeff Stice's church and Greater Vision will be at our church. That is gonna split the crowd for sure. Deciding which one to attend to will be really hard for some fans.

Dinana -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (1/9/2008 11:08:57 AM)

It won't be too hard for me!! It's really a shame it worked out that way though.

With all due respect to Mr. Wolfe, being a quartet man I would have to opt for TQ. However I would love to see Greater Vision in concert some time. GVFan did I some what redeem myself.[:D]

Dinana -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (1/9/2008 11:13:25 AM)

That should appease GVfan! She really likes TQ, too. Haven't you see GV before, Sam???

TQ_Fan_4_Life -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (1/9/2008 11:23:28 AM)

I would have to well, try my best to be in twom places at once but would see TQ first if had to choose.

Oh! yes. And I have pictures to prove it. Met both of y'all in Acworth at the Dove Brothers Concert.

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (1/9/2008 11:25:26 AM)

If I am not working we may opt for Greater Vision only because our church is closer to us that Jeff's church is. Would love to see both of them.

I may be reading that wrong but I think she meant have you ever seen the group GV?

Dinana -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (1/9/2008 11:27:41 AM)

You're right, Santa. Sam - have you seen Greater Vision?

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Triumphant Quartet--A New Beginning (1/9/2008 11:29:22 AM)

Bless his heart!
