I have a friend who subscribes to Reader's Digest, and in the last issue was a quiz called "American IQ." One of the questions was "Four weeks is:" and one of the choices was "The amount of time it takes for it to dawn on you what happened in the last episode of Lost." Their correct answer was how much more vacation time Europeans get than Americans, but I thought the other one was pretty funny.

We just had the episode here in Australia where Sayid dobbed Michael in! I was thinking "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!"
I had to laugh at that siren thing on the boat too, I was thinking "punch those numbers in somebody".

I like the theory about the person in the casket being Michael and Sayid working for Ben because he realises that although he is a slimeball he did want to help them get off the island, maybe, or maybe he is blackmailing sayid like he did with Michael?

I did not see that coming tonight with Alex. We're now starting to see more of Ben's dark mind. That smile that he did after he turned around from talking to Sayid.
Question- did Sawyer call Hurley Chicken Little because Hurley said 'we're gonna die'- was he quoting the movie Chicken Little?

Neither did I. Very sad and shocking. I was so glad Claire was still alive, though.

I wonder if Ben may have had Nadia killed. After all, it just because he told Sayid that Whidmore's (sp?) people killed Nadia doesn't mean it really happened that way.

Now I wonder if Charles Whidmore was the one who funded the Dharma Initiative? That would explain his saying that Ben took the island away from him.

And it will be interesting to hear the explanation of how Ben can control Smokey!

When the house exploded with Claire in it, I really thought that was when they were going to kill her off so Aaron would end up with Kate. They did the very same thing with Charlie when the Others strung him up from a tree.

Re Smokey: I remember Rousseau saying a long time ago that Smokey is a security system for the island. Apparently Ben can control it somehow.

'never thought I'd see Smoky again and I can't wait for that part also. Ben - covered with black stuff ....my mind was going like Smoky was in his cage and Ben had to let him run around the yard for the night.

Did you see Ben go into some secret room in the house? That's where he did whatever has to be done to unleash Smoky. All that arguing over "who gets Hurley" was interesting. Hurley is the only one who can find Jacob's cabin? At some times in the past they all seemed not to need Hurley, he was just a lot of extra weight that had to be taken care of. But now suddenly he's very valuable, as the only one who can find Jacob for sure. Interesting.

They never did explain how Ben ended up in Tunisia in the opening scene, but I believe that's where Charlotte found the polar bear remains? And somehow time travel was involved because he wasn't sure what day and year it was.

When Ben pulled out that weapon and took out the two guys, my son said, "Whoa, Ben has moves!

I think Ben was trying to fake out the guy who threatened to kill Alex, thinking that if that guy thought Alex wasn't valuable to Ben then it wouldn't be worth it to kill her.

Wonder why the dr. was killed? Evidently he must have been coming with the "assault team" and one of them offed him if the people back on the boat thought he was ok.

I did wonder why Ben said he couldn't kill Widmore -- I someone's theory today that they could be related. they could be related. But the whole Jacob and Esau came to mind (since there is a Jacob on the island). I am intrigued to know what "the rules" are and who set them and what the context is -- a competition? a game? a task?

And I hope Ben doesn't "off" Penny just to revenge Alex and hurt Widmore! Widmore didn't look too upset about it.

I can't wait til next week!!!

I thought Claire was a gonner too. When you think Ben can't get any worse, he does.

I'm suprised Ben didn't run into C-3PO or R2d2 in Tunisia. [;)]

I was about to ask that question since hubby wanted to check on some sports scores on a different channel and I thought I thouth I missed a lot.

Was the dr. killed by the crazies on the freighter or the camaflouge fatigue guys ?

THe preview showed the heli pilot on the island.

Widmore seemed to think Penelope was safe somewhere.

What year was it in the dessert ?

That wasn't clear. The people on the boat said the doctor is fine, but that could have been a code like the one Naomi used (tell my sister I love her).

Going back to my Chicken Little question. I was just wondering why Sawyer quoted Chicken Little - the movie did not come out until 2005 so there was no way Sawyer was talking about the movie, unless the writer missed it or unless there's another Chicken Little that I did not know.

I don't remember Sawyer's calling Hurley Chicken Little but I'm sure he was just referring ti the old children's "the sky is falling" tale. I think it would have been his way of saying what another would have by saying "scaredy cat."

He is "the one" -- he will show everyone else how to live in this world. He is the one who understands the power of the island, and can use that to his advantage.

The movie Chicken Little didn't even occur to me.

As far as I can tell the original Chicken Little was published as far back as 1894.

Who were the people that got shot by the camaflouge fatigue guys? It looked like a man and a woman came out of that house, and then Rose came out after her when Sawyer yelled at her to get back inside.
