So, any guesses as to who the next revealed member of the "Oceanic Six" is going to be? I really don't have a clue, except I don't think it's Locke because he doesn't want to leave the island. And it's not necessarily somebody in Jack's group -- Hurley went with Locke, yet he got off the island.

Locke was shocked when Hurley said he knew the direction of the cabin. He's like a wild card here. He's seen Jacob! Only certain chosen ones see him!

Michael Abaddon.... Isn't his last name the name of a demon? Or is it just similar?

The last we saw the "others" they were all grouped at an encampment at the end of last season, waiting while Ben and Alex went to intercept the Losties. It looks like Richard will take over. But then...he will have to face Locke. The island has chosen Locke to lead.

My theory is that Dharma has come back to reclaim the island from Ben. Time will tell.....

I was on a spoiler site a while back that revealed all six. The three that have been revealed so far are Jack, Kate and Hurley. I think I remember who the other three are. Locke is definatley not one of them.

Momma Mo, funny you would mention the island choosing Locke because I thought that lately Locke was starting to act like Ben.

Oh my goodness, sorry for the pun, but I am LOST!
My stupid tv station up here didn't show the first episode because they put on the cricket from another channel, so last night I was all set for ep 1 and it was ep 2!!!!!! So now I am totally confused. What is this oceanic 6 thing? did that come up in episode 1?

Where is Sun and Jin? I can't remember what happened in the last ep of last year! So hurley is now in flash forward scenes too huh? So we know him, kate and Jack make it.

Wow -- I am amazed.

One of my sons pointed out that Sayid said earlier about Ben, "The day I trust that man is the day I sell my soul" -- and apparently that's what he did.

I didn't see it coming at all the the girl was using Sayid to get to his boss just as he was using her to get to hers.

I got to wondering after the show, though, why Sayid was negotiating with Ben and not with Locke about leaving Miles and taking Charlotte -- and how he got Locke to agree. I wonder if Ben is somehow controlling Locke?

I wonder what work Charlotte still has left to do.

I got to wondering at one point if Sayid's protecting of his friends back on the island meant protecting them from being found out, like Kate and Sawyer, who'd likely be arrested if they came back. But then I remembered Kate did come back -- and I am wondering how that happens when she's technically a fugitive and apparently the Oceanic Six are well known. I wondered if the secrecy and covertness when she meets Jack at the airport have anything to do with that -- with her need to keep a low profile. I'm not sure -- it seemed to have more to do with her need to not let whoever the "he" was that she needed to get back to. I imagine we'll hear her "future" story some time soon.

How could that be? Sayid was on the flight, so he could not have arranged all of this ahead of time. How would he have known who was going to come for the rescue?

Could Ben be sending him there to be is man on the ship? Sayid already knows something about the bracelet and he seems to have a connection to Naomi.

I don't know. It's just fun to speculate.

I am assuming Ben is not one of the Oceanic Six, since he was not on the plane. But he is no longer on the island. Weird.

I actually enjoyed watching the rerun of last week with the popups. Since I had already seen the episode I did not mind them as much, and I did learn a few things.

I really want to say that the 6th survivor has to be Claire since Desmond saw her getting into the helicopter in his vision. But then Aaron would be a survivor too and that would actually make 7. Hmmmm.

That leaves 2. It could be Claire and the baby.

I'm guessing it's Michael, but that's just a guess. They did list Harold Perrineau in the beginning credits, although he wasn't shown this ep.

Ben has been all about control and manipulation and mind games from the beginning - remember when they had him prisoner in the hatch, and he kept saying things to Locke and to Jack to try to turn them against each other?

I think if I hadn't already been sitting down, I would've fallen out several times during this ep, especially when we found out Sayid was working for Ben. This episode definitely reminded me of Alias.

Something that's been bugging me: Why did Ben have all those animals in cages?

It just occurred to me since reading something on Lost Media that, since Miles has been traded to Locke's group, he and Sawyer are probably going to meet at some point. Hee! I can't wait!
