YAY! Hope ya have fun, Pauley!
Transportation update: I am officially carless. I am borrowing a truck from my dad for two days, a van from my vacationing friends for the next 5 ... and God willing ... I'll have a car before they get back. I have a lead on a vehicle. We'll see how reliable it is over the next 5 days!

Hey, we were all noobies at one time or another, so it's not a problem! Just let us know - we really need to know by the end of April so everyone can figure out the finances and stuff. I'll be sending out contact info again like last year.

Veronica..........I don't know why not being able to commit now means you can't go........I think they just want a total so they have an idea how much it will for the boat........if less people show us then expected that could be a bad thing and stick others with a huge bill BUT if more people show up then expected that would be a good thing.....it would cost each person less.
I hope you don't rule out coming just because you can't say nay or yea quite yet........who knows what will happen with your job and circumstances........and as I told you we can drive down together if I go.
Oh I just thought of something.......I guess we should really ask Lisa and John_O
Lisa if a person is unable to confirm by the deadline may they still come if circumstances become favorable?

Yes - remember, James was a VERY last minute addition.
The biggest problem will be people not being able to come and making the cost more - as you mentioned. People coming at the last minute, especially those who are driving - it's not an issue by any means. We'll really need a firm number by about 2 weeks in advance - so food costs can be considered, etc.

You're most definitely in driving distance - it would be great if you can attend. It was a blast last year, and with new folks this year, it looks to be like a new adventure!

You are about 4-5 hours driving from John's house. Do not even consider flying - at all. He's near Bloomington, IN. Google that from your house - you'll be shocked at how close you are to his location.

Oh, that's an easy drive! :D
Actually, he's south of Bloomington, so it'd be about 12 hours for you. Pam drove about that far last year - on her own - for the first time. It's fun!!!!!

Bloomington isn't far at all! I just used the airport cuz you said he is near the airport.....I wouldn't even consider flying to IN.
