Columbia - to see someone there, and then to see Mashelle, if she can't make the GT.

Since I'm not going to Alaska this year I may just do it. Although there's a chance (small one) I may choose to drive so I can easily bring my camera equipment. That way everyone can gawk (whoever is awake) at pre-dawn while I head out for pics (assuming wildlife is in the area...).



Depends what you want to shoot. Lots of deer in the fields to the north and west (and east and south for that matter) of town. The lake we will be on has a waterfowl reserve area that we can take a slow cruise through. Various small animals roaming through the neighborhood. Lots of state parks and forests about in addition to the lake.

The weekend chosen is fine with me, but so is the following, or even the previous. If you want to vote, that's good too. I'd just like to get on with it. I'm sure everyone would, so we can all start making plans.
