Lisa, I forgot what time I should try to arrive at the airport (in case I fly in on Friday)...Also, what's the best way to find a cheaper fare that's also non-stop? I want to purchase my tickets this week, if possible.

Basically any time after 9am. I'm now going to MO to see my referee friend on Wed, so I'll be back by the airport by early Friday morning - so really at any time. I don't think you can arrive much earlier than then.
I'll start looking tonight when I get home........we'll find you something.

John, I believe that Diane posted in the ABC thread more in detail about the situation. I cannot remember myself what exactly what the situation was though.
In other news, I saw airfares drop a bit again, thanks to American's airlines unexpected cancellations. I will likely purchase my tickets sometime this evening, pending that airfares are still on sale.

I've been trying to figure out what "GT" means and finally got it. Wow, I didn't know you guys do stuff like this. Sounds like fun! I looked at last year's pictures and I'm tempted to come. It's probably the same distance as Chicago, which I've driven in 16 hours. Hmmm........
If I come, can I bring my kid?

Oh, ok.
I was thinking if I go, I'd spend a few days in Indiana to explore so I won't be staying at his house. I was thinking if I go, I would just be dropping in for the Saturday beach day and meeting everyone.

So, lets keep this adults only.
I'm about 6 hours from St Louis. and about 5 hours from Chicago. Of course if you can avoid the cities you'll save some time.

No worries. Hopefully I can join you guys someday! Have fun and post lots of pictures. It would be nice to have the names of everyone on those pics though.
Speaking of get together...I'm planning a hiking trip to Costa Rica (with my kid, of course) in the fall if anyone wants to come!

The reason there are no names is because some people are highly protective of their identity, and the only way they agreed to let the pictures go online is to have no names.
BTW - I just booked my flight - $179.50 ROUND TRIP!!!!!!!

The supertoon has been rented. Total was 475.95 after taxes, fees, credit card fee, and 5% discount.
We'll split that up however between all the attendees.
It has a new grill on it! I'll even remember to bring a lighter!
