I bought my tickets on Wednesday, and would you know it, airfares then dropped an additional $100 after that as well! If anyone is on the fence, United Airlines is having a sale up to the end of today I think. Something to check into anyway. Do not forget to check out other sites such as Sidestep and Travelocity as well.

So, does anyone know how late is TOO LATE to decide to go? I am struggling with this. I really want to go, really need to get away for a few days, but just don't know if I can truly afford it.........

That's cool. The more I think about it now, I really need to just get away from everyone and everything here at home to "zone out" for a day or few. LOL
The drive alone will be AMAZING!

Thanks for the response. I know people are busy, but sometimes I wonder if I'm getting through. LOL
I just wish I had an estimated guess on the expenses we need to pay John for, total, so I can figure out if I can afford this trip...

Well, good grief. The gas will cost more than that! OK, I am getting psych'd now!!! If only I can find a car that gets better gas mileage than mine to borrow.......

Last year it was definitely shorts and flip flops weather. We swam on Saturday and the water was OK. Just slightly cool in places but the sun was hot.
I'd expect temps in the 80's unless teh global cooling really kicks into high gear
