It was 5 degrees when I put the kids on the bus this morning! And that's not counting the windchill! BRRRR!
The big news aroung here today is all the talk about the "Blizzard of 1978" that essentially shut Indiana down for 5 or so days, or so I hear. I was in Minnesota at the time and only 8 years old so I really don't remember it too much. I'm sure we had a lot of snow too, so I'm sure my siblings and I had a blast playing in it all.
We are getting snow again tonight but I'm certain it will not be anything like 30 years ago!

My baby girl just had a Tinkerbell/princess birthday party! Tink on her cake and everything! Ah to be 7 years old again!
Oh and to make this weather related - It is snowing now! Now I'm usually not a complainer about the weather and winter and all, I can tell you I'm not liking these cold temps! My knee and hip get all tight and creaky on me and hurt! It's just not nice!

I am so hoping it doesn't snow today. I am going over "the pass" to go to Kimberly's wedding. There was one time I went over "the pass" in a blizzard and it took me eight hours to get across.

We had a heat wave yesterday. A nice 50 degrees.
Woke up this morning and there's frost on the cars. Guess I need to warm up the car some before I go to church.
Snow would be nice. I love the way the trees look with snow on them. Not every day but a one time nice good snowfall with no ice involved.

Hey, if it's gotta be cold, just as well have some white stuff to go with it.
Warmer today and tomorrow, then winter returns. Maybe the warmer air will make it to the folks east of me.

Heat wave here also. 41 degrees expected today. But 40 MPH winds from the south, come along with it. Tomorrow we are expecting another 3" of snow and Wen. we go back into the deep freeze.

We had a little frost this morning as well as some ice on the windshield. It was a little colder than I thought it was going to get, but I loved it!
