Hiya Michelle! I am doing ok, its a pleasant Saturday AM. Yes, the weather thread has been around in various carnations for over 5 years now (6 I think).

I'm sure you've seen lots of wacky weather in this thread over the years then. But there's nothing wacky about our weather today. Woke up to about 45 degrees, and it'll go up to over 75. That's Florida for ya!

LOL!! My sweaters aren't getting much use this year, nor did they get much use last year, or the year before that, or the year before that.....

Pun'kin is doing great. I've been talking about the challenges of running after a kitten in a couple of other threads.

Sure! You can go HERE to the cat chat thread, or to the Single's chat thread.

Oh, and I saw that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning. Six more weeks of winter.

Boy is it getting yucky out right now! Kind of a sleety snowy mix coming down pretty hard and nasty! Looks like we could get enough to put a good couple inches on the ground! Likely school delays in the morning!

Just so we don't cancel. Oh shoot, I just remembered that my eldest dd has a follow up Dr. appointment tomorrow. Geesh I hope we don't delay cause if we do I'll have to take them all with me!

Blessings,

Garsy

I am so tired of this snow kick. Can't it go away for a few days and be sunny and 45*? Even 45 would feel warm with the 20's and 30's we are constantly in. I don't think I remember having this many snow days in a row my past three northern Nevada winters.

Northeast Indiana, a stones throw away from Ohio!

And we did have a delay today. Several districts around us did close for the day. I ended up rescheduling my dd's dr's appointment for tomorrow instead. If I had kept it it I would have had to bring all three of my younger ones AND a neighbor kid whose parents both work, so he comes over here on delay mornings so his older brother doesn't have to miss a day of school!

Blessings,

Garsy

From what I'm hearing Deb we are to be getting a warm front from the south, warming things up so where you will get the snow, we are supposed to get large amounts of rain. Not good with the snow melt already! The rivers are getting close to flood stage once again!

Blessings,

Garsy

Hey Joy! Whereabouts are you in Indiana? We are seriously socked in by the fog now! My kids' bus stop is a half a block away and I can't see it! I'd say visabilty is less then 150 feet! If you are out and about in NE Indiana tonight PLEASE be careful! And turn on those headlights in the fog in the DAY time too! You are not the only car on the road! Hey and be especially careful around school busses!

Blessings,

Garsy

Hey garsyt I am in north central Indiana and yes we are socked in by fog.........Last night driving home I could not see the houses or even the mail boxes along the road.....all I could see was the yellow line in the center.....

The really cool thing was it was lightening as a storm was moving in. I was driving before the thunder and rain started but it was lighting........the fog was so thick surrounding me with this heavy gray........then every once in a while lightening would lite up the fog.......I still couldn't see because of the thickness of the fog but the fog itself would because this blast of light.........It is hard to explain but it was really cool.......

Oh another thing which was cool was the winds were blowing fairly hard and since the fog was coming from the snow becoming gas.....from the ground up it was blowing in the wind creating this crazy wind swirls in the fog..........

It looked as I imagine the scripture of in the Bible when it talks about the spirit moving over the earth.........just really cool.

Are you from Indiana also then?
