Also, sometimes people will put someone else's return address (like a relative or friend) if they are sending it to someone who knows their address. For the CHristmas one I gave my package to my brother at Thanksgiving and he mailed it from another state because if I mailed it from here my SS (Donna) would have figured me out. I thought she might anyway because I've talked about a bro in the state it was mailed from.

It's funny that you mention wanting to buy a book for your SS already. I've been reading through what everyone has written and someone mentioned a book or author they are interested in, and of course I have some of their books sitting in my collection! How great is that! But wait...I don't know if they're my SS or not! It will be very obvious where my package is from and it has nothing to do with return address, but I know the fun will be in waiting for the package and the suspense of what's inside!

I love books, but I doubt I'll be able to participate in this exchange.

ORIGINAL: Hazel2 Tracy, I am a true crime junky! I used to read it, now I tune into A&E. I don't really have many true crime books... Hazel, I never thought I would like books like that, but it is all my friend reads and talks about so one day, I took one of her books. It was the first book about Lacy Peterson and I was so hooked. I am just glad to have a friend who has a library for me to just go in and borrow from with no time limits because I don't get to read books too often.

Truthfully? Dilbert cartoon books, Calvin & Hobbes, Ok, Harvie, are you sure you are not my husband? I know there are a bunch Calvin and Hobbes and Bloom County in my basement. Maybe he might want to get rid of one or two?

Ok, now I feel stupid. I don't know anything about them except for that there are books in my basement that had those names on them. And his books are old.

Is there still room for me? What are your favorite genres/types of books? Classics, Cookbook (Indian cooking or soup especially), Memoirs, Biography, Science, History, and Gardening (I read a lot of gardening books in the winter). Who are your favorite authors- do you own all of their books? Not really. I do own a lot of classics...and history. Are there any other authors you'd like to try? No romance please, even Christian romance. I'm curious about the Thoene's though. I haven't read anything of theirs but people recommend them all the time. Are there any specific titles you've been eyeing up? I have a whole huge wishlist I keep somewhere but I'm not going to dig it up. That might make this more complicated for the person who gets my name. Any special considerations (ie someone who needs large print books)? No And of course... How can your SS (and the rest of us) pray for you? I'm going back to school next year.

What are your favorite genres/types of books? Crime/mystery. Good Christian fiction. Cookbooks. Variety or logic puzzle books. Who are your favorite authors- do you own all of their books? Max Lucado is my absolute favorite, but I have all of them already. Are there any other authors you'd like to try? Don't know. I'm not being very helpful, am I? Are there any specific titles you've been eyeing up? I've been on the lookout for a good bread book. Just learned how to make it and I'd like some more recipes to "play" with. Any special considerations (ie someone who needs large print books)? Nope. How can your SS (and the rest of us) pray for you? For a healthy pregnancy and baby, also for wisdom in discerning if this should be our last child.
