I'll bet. It's a wonder your camper hasn't exploded.

We don't camp nearly as much as we'd like to. If it's not one thing, it's another.

I hear that! Well, it should be thawing out about the time you get there.

Hopefully.

I've got tomato and pepper sets growing on the kitchen table. About 75% of the tomatoes have germinated. One one pepper has. Hopefully the rest of them will be popping up soon.

A friend of mine farms, and has offered an unlimited supply of free fertilizer for the garden.

Gotta get it there first. He's got a tractor loader, so he'll just dump it in the bed of my truck. Then I'll hafta wheelbarrel it back to the garden and spread it by shovel. That's OK though, 'cause I'm good at shoveling it.

Welcome Jordan! This is a good place to just hang out sometimes and get away from the girlies.

Well, start a topic. You are coming in at 22 pages into a string. We've already solved all the worlds problems...the toilet seat should remain up, and it's all the girlies fault!!!

Hi Jordan, and welcome to the Men's Club. We're in the garage, so pull up a lawn chair. The garage door's open and we're watching the rain. Maybe we should bring the BBQ in here and fire it up.

Carpenter bees!
I'm trying something new... we are spraying a solid stain on a cedar house, I just bought last month on the steps to rehab, with an insecticide additive. I was driving around checking on all of my projects today, and I messed around for an hour batting down bees with a paddle. While fun, I really am too busy to do that for 3 weeks of the month on a rental. So my foreman suggested we try it... never knew they made it, but we'll see.

Hi shish8 and welcome. I see you can post just fine, and what a great place to start.

I've heard of carpenter ants before. Didn't know they had a bee cousin though.

Yeah well, in the polar cap of Meeechigan, no bug survives above ground.

We do get plenty of Mayflies.

Except that in our climate they come in June.

Ya' know... it wouldn't take much to put a back stop in the garage for an indoor shooting range. I'll be heading to the "man's club" this weekend for some recreational tactical handgun shooting. I've got a new toy, Sig P229, and have only plinked 50 rounds. Also wanna take the M1911, just love shooting the perfect .45 that hasn't changed in almost 100 years! Whadda say Ray, I'd bet that would keep the girlies out!
