Yeah ooooh boy, that would do it!
For camping, I use a peculator. On one trip I hated to toss the coffee because it was cold, so re-perked it... the effect was like putting Sunoco 100 octane in your lawn mower.

They must have cut the coffee grounds with sawdust. At least that's what it tasted like.

Not saw dust... it's mixed with that black crusty gunk that has to be scraped off the interior of the nuclear reactor every so often.

It's warm here too, and with severe thunderstorms. More coming today. Tomorrow it's supposed to be a little cooler, but only for one day and then back to the heat again.

I wonder if I should cut down on the caffeine as well?

Actually, I'm much happier being off of caffeine. Now the highs and lows are gone. Plus I'm saving money. And with all of the medical testing that I knew was coming up, I'd have to not have any caffeine for that anyway. No sense in getting a killer headache every time they want to run some tests on me.

Hmmm, highs and lows, you mean that all can be blamed on caffeine instead?

By highs and lows I mean the energy level throughout the day.

You are too young to know anything about such topic... I'm doing back strokes in the estrogen ocean! All girls, even the cat and dawg. It's just me and one fish, and the two of us are doing our best to hold up the manliness in the house.
Now you know why I like to garden and fish until dark.

Now there's an art-form. I have a wife and raised two daughters. Always wanted a son and now I have a grandson. Sometimes with the mood swings, you need a garage that you can barricade yourself into...at least mentally.

There are times when no matter what you say, it's wrong. And its times like those that you're better off in the garage until the estrogen subsides.

Our clothes dryer died last week. It had developed a smell of unburned natural gas inside the dryer when it wasn't being used. Since it had been around for a long while, I wasn't going to bother with trying to fix it and decided on a new one with which to replace it.

I had researched dryers and prices...pretty much knew what I wanted. We walked into the local appliance purveyor as soon as they opened. They made a sale within the first five minutes of the day.

Wanting the dryer in service the same day and perferring to do the work myself, we went to their warehouse and loaded the dryer in the back of the pickup and took it home. Then of course there was a trip to the local hardware store for a gas connection after the old one would not fit the new dryer.

Getting in and out of the laundry room is difinitely tight. All-in-all, it took five hours from arriving at the appliance store to having the new dryer installed.
