Hey guys,
I've been researching those hydrogen generator systems for cars. For less than $400.00, a lot of people are getting significant improvements on their mileage. The savings pays for itself in less than a year.

Look at http://www.gas4free.com/aff/?hop=webdirect2 and http://www.gas4free.com/aff/?hop=webdirect2. These seem to be the best deals on the market.

What do you think?

Frankly, I'm not willing to alter my trucks engine and risk fire to get a few more MPGs. Keeping your auto in good repair, tires inflated, balanced and aligned, as well as working on the "lead foot syndrome" will do wonders for your millage. If you are that worried about spending $$$ for gas, sell your car and get an older model for which you can pay cash.

Edit to say... seriously, not wanting to sound harsh, but nothing runs better than a well tuned car that is paid off.

Wow ray, should I go fetch coffee? Such a thing would take a good while.

Ray, they already did that is season 2. It proved that it does nothing but damage your engine. They also dissed the myth that leaving your truck tailgate down helps with MPG. In fact, it hurts your MPG at highway speed with the wind pushing down on the rear and creating more friction.

It's been raining on and off for the last couple days...remnants of hurricane Gustov which combined with a cold front from the nothwest. My lawn right now is saying 'Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!'

Congrats to you. I'm still hoping/praying we get a little from Hana and Ike since Gustov missed us.

Where does Johnnie keep his trucks spare tire? Fastened underneath the truck? Or is it laying loose in the truck bed, with the gate down to save fuel? That always angers me to see someone driving around with a loaded gun in their truck bed like that.

How about those truck bed covers? Don't they help with the mpg?

The last I heard, there's going to be a big push toward electric cars- maybe like was talked some time ago in the garage here. What was that cost... something like 300K a car? Sounds like Uncle Sammy is going to really be doing some recycling of old cars so he can buy us all Energizer Rabbits, Duracell Revere Copperbottoms, Ray-O-Vac Panthers, and The Shack Partsmobiles. Of course, there'll be a model out that has a big nickel-plated key stuck in a hole on the side that you crank up to drive and then pull over and recrank when the time comes- the Crankynow Crankylater.

Um, who unplugged the cappuchinator coffee maker? Didn't I warn y'all about the need to keep that hydrogenationalizticimometometer stable in there? Denbert, don't smack it just yet! It's got to settle down!!!

Ray-o-Vac would seem appropriate, but I'll probably end up with Copperbottom instead.

I'd say it'd be no worse than having that tin hat and horns attached to your head.

Maybe the tin hat would react with the Copperbottom.

Several years ago GA prosecuted a guy who lost a washing machine on I-85, unsecured in a small truck with no tail gate. 8 lanes of traffic at rush hour that caused a HUGE wreck, killed 2. Prosecutor asked for death, he got life. DOT was sick and tired of people "self moving" tying mattresses on top of sedans, dressers in trucks, and appliances unstrapped to drop them on the interstates... so he became the poster child for Stupid Apartment Mover of the Year.
