I wasn't online yesterday, so I just spent an hour reading this thread! Can't some of you loons come to my thread and give it some momentum?

Kath, sorry your doctor is dropping the ball. That's maddening. Dude's suggestion of a chiropracter is worth investigating!

I made a trip to my Chiropractor this week because of headache and being light headed. He found it and fixed it right away. Hope it will work for you.

2 things about the headache thing--I have a friend who gets terrible headaches from soy--and lots of food has soy in it. And a chiropractor sounds like a good idea or even an acupuncturist. Is that 3 things? Well here is a fourth--get another opinion--it seems to be told come back in a year is dropping the ball--a lot can happen in a year.

Would it make you feel better if I told you that my grandfather-in-law always said "You have to have a brain in your head to get headaches"?

My Grandmother always said: "If I had a head like that and it didn't hurt, I'd be worried."

Seriously, I'm praying for Kath.

Well, my dr visit:

He said that he doesn't see any symptoms of any neurological problem. He really doesn't know why I'm having headaches. He told me to come back in a year and maybe we'll do another scan then or maybe wait another year, depending on how I feel. So, I really didn't learn much. Larry isn't happy, he says there has to be a reason why I have headaches. He thinks it's stress.

Then of course, you must take up yoga and meditation and drink nothing but green tea and carry a bunch of rocks in your pockets (they are supposed to channel away something... can't remember what) and wear a sachet around your neck with fresh lavender in it.... (doesn't that sound like that would relieve stress to you?)

Seriously, I'm very happy to hear that its nothing physiological and bad... I love you!

I love you too Brenda :) but I think the only thing in your post I'd go for is the lavender sachet.

Thanks for all the prayers. I slept a lot last night and feel better today. Still tired but better.

I would go for the green tea, and I think the rocks in my head would ward off whatever they are supposed to ward off -- maybe good sense? I can make you and SharMar lavender sachets. I have it growing in my garden.

You do? I've never smelled fresh lavender. I've never even thought about planting it for some reason..

I used to have some lavender-vanilla body stuff that was awesome and very relaxing.

I think it smells great!

It's easy to grow; just plop it in and ignore it. Mine is about five years old.
