Its part of the Navajo culture to pull into someone's driveway and wait until someone comes out. Its their way of welcoming you to their land. If you are not welcomed, they don't come out of their house (or hogan). Its interesting.

My friend doesn't look Navajo, but you never know.
BTW, one of my favorite albums is Jerry Jeff Walker's Navajo Rug.

I hadn't heard of that song, Kerr; but I looked it up on YouTube. I couldn't find a clip of where Jerry Jeff Walker was singing it, but I was able to hear someone else singing it.
I love acoustic guitars!
