Hi, Sheila! I just found out about your Thread from your Post in Maggie's Musings, so I thought I'd pop in for a minute. I'm glad that Danielle has found some support for her grief - that's very important for the healing process. I think abour her every now and again, and pray for her. That's going to be a hard process for her, but having you and Craig for support, as well as her hubby, this other grieving mother, and all of os us at Crosswalk, will help to ease the load. Speaking of easing a load, can I share something with you? One of my long-time friends at church, a former offensive tackle for Penn State, told our men's prayer group on Satruday morning that he has a tumor in his stomach (approx. 4") that's eaten through the stomach wall and is butting up aginst his liver. His doctor gives him 4-6 months to live without treatment, 1-2 years if the treatment is effective, and the same 4-6 months if it's not. It's the first time that I can remember seeing him cry over anything, other than in intercession for this nation or repentance over his sin. And he wasn't crying because he's afraid to die, but over the fact that this is going to be a hard fight. Needless to say, it was an extremely emotional moment for every man there. Our elders laid hands on him and anointed him with oil for healing, but our overriding prayer was for God's glory to be revealed and magnified through this whole trial. Sorry about rambling for a minute there, but I just needed to let you all know of this need. If you think about it, please pray for Criag Lyle, his wife (Janet) and 3 sons (David, Seth, and Timothy). Ask God for His healing mercy to flow over Craig to remove the tumor, but if greater glory for God is realized by Craig not being healed, then let His will be done. Thanks, my friends! Duane
