I will pray that Danielle's pregnancy goes its full run, resulting in a healthy grandchild for you.
Congratulations to both you, Sheila, and Duane. My son lost 100 pounds so I know it can be done but I'm having such a difficult time. I've gained 25 pounds since my lowest weight 16 months ago. Very discouraging. So I figured I'd better go get a new pair of jeans. I went, bought a pair one size larger than the ones in my laundry hamper, and wore them at the church camping weekend. I couldn't believe it--they were way too loose and kept falling off; a very unexpected but delightful problem. I tried on something else of my "skinnier" clothes and it's too loose too so it looks as though despite gaining 25 pounds, I haven't increased in size at all. Amazing!

Her due date is Feb 20th. She goes to her first visit with the "high risk OB" this Friday.
That's great Maggie!!! Mine is going VERY slow...but I figure "slow is the way to go" since I am not "dieting" but experimenting with/of permanant changes I can and will make. No sense eating one way to lose it if I just plan to go back to the "old ways" when I get there.

foster kittens... and my new Subaru
It is wonderful that Angela got a promotion, but she now works 2nd shift (and often doubles if people call in sick) so with my 1st shift schedule it's hard to get together. 
So...slowly but surely I am getting the weight off with God's help!!! It's SO much easier putting it on than taking it off!!!
