Sheila, did you know that Aussie slang for for a woman is "sheila"? For example, "Look at that sheila over there". Yes, actually I did hear that. I've had some elude that's not a necessarily complimentary TYPE of woman...but "whatever". [:)] quote:
Specky, would you head all the way out there when did visit there in the future? If my schedule permitted and my husband didn't have any objections. He would probably come with me. [:D] Last week I was informed that I got "new responsibilities" added to my current position at work that I had applied for. I thought maybe it WOULD involve a promotion or a raise since it is A LOT more work...but was advised plainly that it was NOT and did NOT... but I took it anyway. 1. It's more time OFF the phones. 2. It's more experience and more connections to people in other parts of the company. The lady that does it now is submitting an outline of the job responsibilites and how they've increased since the position was first created and how it DOES deserve much more recognition AND PAY than what she got for it. I don't care about the recognition from my peers as much as I would LOVE a raise. Who wouldn't? [sm=icon_smile_clown.gif] Well... you all have a great day, week, weeks...whenever it is I can pop in again. My schedule feels like I am on overdrive sometimes. Blessings! Sheila
