So now I'm wondering if I'll even watch the super bowl. Maybe for the commercials.

LOL Denny!!!

That's EXACTLY what I said last night to Craig... "Now that the Packers aren't going to be in the Super Bowl we don't have to watch it, right?"
He said "No, 'we' will still watch it to see who wins." I tried insisting that we might have other things to do that day but he didn't buy it.

I don't know about yours, but at my job they have computer software that they can watch EVERYTHING you do and listen to EVERYTHING you say so we cannot go to ANY personal websites... not even on breaks!!! I don't like that aspect of my job but it's not going to change so I just choose to accept that "that's the way it is", like so many other issues with my job. (I won't even start on that list again)

Yes, same way with mine. We are not supposed to surf the web either, but I see a lot of other people doing it. Once in a while I will check the weather or order a sandwich, but that's about it for me.

Sounds like your current job is not too bad. I had to work Thanksgiving, and Christmas was the only day out of the year that we were closed. I only get holidays off if it happens to be my regular day off or I ask for it off.

I had "one of those rooms"...

Then Lynn found it and I had to clean it up.

Well, fortunately Craig knows that we are both equally responsible for the condition of "the room". The rest of the house he is VERY good at helping to keep clean and orderly. I don't even have to ask!! Yes, I think he IS an angel is disguise.

I saw the last 2 minutes of regular time and the winning field goal. And that was only because I happened to flip by and noticed they were still playing. I'll probably watch the Super Bowl for maybe 10 minutes and then find something else. I can't wait for March Madness, and then baseball season!

Mbee, must you encourage those two?

Denny & Benny are married?

Different women. Same gender.

March madness? Isn't that another round of sleepy-time playoffs? There's already a dribble thread somewhere....

Well, there isn't a game for me to watch, so......

There is no heat at work today, no lights in the ladies and I broke a nail. I may as well go home.

Except there is an inch of snow on the car to be cleaned off and I'm in a skirt.

At least I have shoes today.

I will have you know that baseball games are fun and exciting when you go to them in person... I don't really watch them on TV unless Craig is there so then I know what he is seeing.

I would say if that happened where I worked MBee... no heat, no lights, they'd SEND us home since it's a bit too cold here to not have heat!!
Good job on having shoes today though.

I was up early, Denny because I am every weekday morning. (especially when it's not a holiday and I have to work) I leave for work no later than 6:30 and like time to sit and post and relax besides getting ready before leaving.

The building is sorta T-shaped and has a system that has two blowers, on for the leg and one for the top. My part didn't have the blower. We all have heaters in the rooms anyhow and it must have been on overnight because it wasn't that cold. I didn't know it wasn't on until someone told me. And the lights were off just long enough to fix a recepticle.

I said I would go home, but I'd have to clean the car and didn't feel like working.

Actually I DID just read the answer in Sharon Marie's thread so now I don't need her to answer that in here. She must have read my mind last night before the question was even in it... wow!! she is good!!!

Good morning, Denny!!

Didn't someone ask me that in Shar-Mar's thread?

I'm confused.

Someone wreaked in front of our house overnight. The driver (no passengers) was ok, but the front of his truck was banged up pretty good. The driver side front wheel is canted and they said the radiator is shoved back and broken.

The funny part - because there is humor everywhere and my hubby likes finding it - is that Dec 15, DeeDee and I were on the way to piano and stopped at a wreck and I stayed until it was cleared. (I was able to get her to piano). Two weeks ago, on the way home from Scouts, she and I stopped at another one until it was towed. So Poppa told DeeDee that since she was in no condition to go out LOOKING for accidents, the accident came to her. She stuck her tongue out at him and went back to sleep.

We didn't do as much as I would have liked for this one, because DeeDee was sleeping on the couch. I would have had them sit inside if she wasn't ill.

I'm glad the driver wasn't hurt!

So, what IS it with you & DeeDee and wrecks?

And yeah . . . Christi (Zmanfan38) asked about your work over in that ramblin' thread. My word, MBee!!!
YOU are definitely the one that everyone wants to know about! Ever thought of writing a book? LOL

Good Morning Sheila and y'all.

Blame it on Scouts. We had to put that emergency kit in the car, now we keep using it.

Seriously folks. We have learned this - cheap road flares don't last very long; buy good ones. Find a reflective vest and get a better flashlight. Just in case. I also think I need to get a few cheap blankets to keep (and lose) in the car.

Write a book? "Free advice, you don't have to follow it, you just have to listen politely" "How I got lost in a one-horse town" "When the (cow) chips are down, grab a shovel"

Oh, DeeDee had a joke.

Why does a milking stool only have three legs? Because the cow has the udder.

Even in the condition she's in; she can still keep 'em rolling in the aisles!
