I can't stand 2 1/2 men. The main actor is too promiscuous - on the show.

It'd be easier for me to list current shows I like.

1- Super Nanny
2- I can tolerate Wife Swap.

However, they both come on Wednesday nights and I have no way to record them and I have Bible study on Wednesday nights.

"Hate" is such a strong word, so, I will use, "dislike" and/or "reject."

The shows I dislike or reject are as follows:

99% of everything that is on tv.

The only show that I hate that I actually watched was Flash Gordon on the SciFi channel. Friday nights is sci-fi night and I'll be darned if I will let a terrible show like Flash Gordon ruin it! And boy, wasn't it bad. Bad acting, bad script, cheap production, a planet Mongo about the size of Disneyworld, and an Emperor Ming who was about as terrifying as a long hot bath after running a marathon. Hopefully the show will not me renewed so I don't have to suffer through another season.

LOL, Tacitus. Can't argue with your Flash Gordon analysis.

Other shows I truly loathe:

2 1/2 Men. (Hello? Stag nite at the improv? No thanks. Oy.)
House. (Gregory House is such a git. I grew weary of his anti-God theatrics some time ago. His contemptible, misanthropic nature truly does him no favors. )
Stargate: Atlantis. (Can't this stupid franchise just die? It's only been on since, well, forever.)
CSI: Las Vegas. (I've grown tired of Gil Grissom and Catherine and the rest. How many times can you recycle a plot? Guess we'll find out this year. )
Greeks. (See my opinion re 2 1/2 men.)
24. (Probably get flamed for this, but I don't care. How many seasons--consisting of 24 consecutive one-hour periods--can one guy live through? Puh-leaze. I'm all for pushing the envelope of credulity, but this is just too much. )

Family Guy. (I actually liked this show in small bites. But Seth McFarlane's anti-God/anti-Christ rants reveal him IMNSHO as mentally unstable, to say the least. The crudity of FG seems to worsen daily. SmF must be running out of material. )

SouthPark. (Simply disgusting and stupid. No way around it. Only ManBearPig was halfway-funny. Ha ha. Okay, it's out of my system now. )

All I can think of for now.

OK- after having my sister be sick and pretty much parked in front of the tv I've seen enough CSI to know that I can't stand the shows.... regardless of the city.

Oprah tops my list of hated programming
Dr. Phil runs a close second
and then there's Jonathan Edwards and Jerry Springer
Tyra is also awful, but I do like her ANTM

And in no certain order...these are a sampling of other non-liked programs:
Simpsons - I never did "get" it
Family Guy - same as above
Southpark - same as above
Big Brother - a bunch of hormonal 20-somethings, just add alcohol and viola! chaos! far too many drama queens
Survivor - first season should've ended the series
Amazing Race - not so much

OK, I didn't read the entire thread, but here are a few of my least faves:

American Idol (I can't believe there are actually a few of us haters out there!)
Any of the stupid reality games: Survivor, Big Brother, Batchelor & spin-off's, etc
Any of the stupid celebrity reality shows

Anyone see a theme here?

Torchwood(I thought a spin-off of my favorite show would be at least half decent.)
Ghost Hunters(A bit funny, but my mom's obsessed with it and now I can't STAND it...too creepy!)
Most of the new Disney shows! I semi-like some of them like Suite Life and Hannah Montanna(that one drives me nuts, I only partly like it because the main characters are Christians), but I think I've just grown out of Disney altogether.

I don't watch a ton of other shows so I wouldn't know what else to list. I'm sure if I watched more adult television I'd have a very long list. I've recently started liking Cartoon Network; when I first saw the show "Chowder" I hated it, but it slowly grew on me.

Hello D3kkerfan! Ted Dekker is my favorite author, but I'm afraid although my taste in authors is similar, my taste in TV doesn't match yours. I absolutely adore House MD and all the Stargate shows!

As for shows I hate... Grey's Anatomy and the stupid spinoff. UGH UGH UGH. Doctors aren't that cool. Trust me.

I'm sure there are more, but that is all that comes to mind now.

Here's some of the shows I can't stand:

Ellen: The Ellen Degeneres Show
All reality shows (including Survivor)
Desperate Housewives
Lipstick Jungle
My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad
Boston Legal
Las Vegas

I'm sure there are others I just can't think of right now.

Pretty much all of them. TV is surely lacking in good quality entertainment. Not too much originality with TV series today.

Well, I think Big Brother would be the top of my list there. I just feel they let things go way too far in that show. If people really want to become celebrities, there are always other ways and far less humiliation to the people concerned.

The shows that come into people's lives and homes (usually mediocre celebrities or unusual families) and film them 24/7. This craze seemed to have began with The Osbournes on MTV and spread like a nauseating wildfire. Now nearly every channel has something similar. Ew. They make me want to scream to participants: You are NOT so fascinating every minute of the day!

Also any of the *dating* shows that have women (or men) continually arguing and even fighting with each other for the attention of the star on the show. That goes beyond degrading. The only reason why people would do this is a desperation for any sort of fame. It's not worth it.

And I agree with American Idol is not near what it used to be. The first two or three seasons it was rather interesting, a new concept to watch. But now it's totally redundant and boring.

I ground my teeth and wanted to scream when I heard that According to Jim had been renewed after all. Why does anybody think this show is funny? It seems to me the premise for the whole thing is Jim acting like a jerk in various ways, trying to cover up his jerkiness, and then getting forgiveness for said jerkiness. IRL a woman like Cheryl wouldn't even be married to a guy like that in the first place.

American Idol.
24.
House.
Lost.
Heroes.
Prison Break.
Any of the CSI or Law and Order or other cop/detective boloney.

Yeah, I probably just listed off everyone's favorite shows, but I really just can't take them.

Oh, even though it isn't made anymore, as far as I am aware that is, I am going to throw on Gilmore Girls to this list. That show is just too dreadful to pass up, ever.

I agree with you on American Idol, Prison Break and Gilmore Girls but as for the rest. . .you must be joking! Those are some of the best shows on television (aside from The Office and Battlestar Galactica of course, nothing tops those).

The CSI shows are probably some of the worst! It's blood and gore and sex. Most (maybe all) of the plot lines have to do with convoluted sexuality.

The Office is good. . .

But Flight of the Conchords is the best show on TV right now. Hands down.

Hmmm, never heard of it. What's it about?

Actually, the best show ever was "Arrested Development", unfortunately I think the humor went over most people's heads and it was cancelled after 3 seasons.
