Hi Everyone

I decided to start this post about being thankful daily even for the little things.
So feel free to post what you are thankful for today and everyday.

The number one reason I am thankful for is having God in my life. I dont know how people get by a day without God!

So Lord I am thankful for you!

I'm thankful to the Lord for a beautfiful, peaceful place to live, where most people have plenty. I know there are others in other countries who live with poverty and struggling.

I was just praying last night about the snow & cold weather we're having (below zero and about 5" of snow). The Bible says we are to be thankful in EVERYTHING, so I thank God for this winter season and the cold and snow. It makes me appreciate the beauty of God's world, the mighty power of God's creation, and it will make me so thankful for spring!

Of course, I'm thankful for my reliable furnace, and my car that can drive on slippery roads. Oh, and also for DH who shovels the driveway! Seriously, though, I am SO THANKFUL that God provides me & my family with shelter and has kept us safe when we've had to travel this winter.

I am thankful for this Prayer & Praise Reports Forum.

Amen. I love that answer ^_^

It's funny this thread would catch my eye, cuz I just got back home from a couple errands and was thanking the Lord for my jeep. It has some rough days on the side of the road now and then, but I remember being constantly broke down in my last car. It's nice being able to get where ur kids need you to be.

I thank him that my 19 yo's eye is healing well after stitches yesterday, and that it hit the brow instead of somewhere that would have affected his vision.

I thank him for the teens that he has sent into my life, and the many things they expressed just last night about all that God is teaching them.

... this is a dangerous thread, it could start me to rambling about the goodness of God so much so that I would never shut up. So for this one moment of this one day, that's what I'm thankful for, but stuff comes to mind every few seconds, just so you know. God pours out so much good stuff, no wonder heaven is filled with continuous PRAISE of him. I love that this thread echoes that PRAISE in the here and now. You guys are awesome <3

For the air that I breath, and the food that I eat. For the warmth of the fire that I'm sitting by right now. For my children and grandchildren and parents. For all my family, really. For every wonderful think that I see, hear, taste, touch, and smell in this world that the Lord lur God has made. Most of all, for salvation, the assurance of an eternal home, for His presence and love. All these things that we could never earn, but that He gives freely. For His peace.

Yes, Lord, so very thankful to You for all these things already mentioned and I thank You Lord that You never change, are always there, never give up on any of us, are always happy to hear from us and that You Provide us with Your Grace to understand how we need to be ever diligent to be Thankful & Praising at all times, for Abba without that Grace we would be the opposite because our flesh would overrule our spirit and we would not understand that we owe our all to You

Thank You Lord...for All those praiseful & grateful people; for the giggles, smiles, laughs, sense of humour, for health, water, food and for giving me passion and desire to study at night even when I don't feel like doing it. You are always able to change our heart and make it what You want us to be and do. I am ever in awe of Your grandeur!!! Amen

I thank and praise my Lord for my church family and the faithful pastor we have! I am so thankful for all the blessings God has granted to our congregation, and am grateful for the loving Christian friends I have at church. Thank you, dear Father, for the fellowship we share and the opportunity we have to meet together to worship you!

The Bible says we are to be thankful in EVERYTHING, so I thank God for this winter season and the cold and snow.

I am so thankful for this verse! It brought my joy back and unfroze my heart, 1 Thessolonians 5:18 -- "give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

It says we can have joy every second of our lifes from hereonforth

Yes, Lord Thank You even though in our earthly language words do not exist to ever fully express our thankfulness to You
