Hey there girl.....or should I say Dudette LOL
As for snow angels........I am already guilty of playing in the snow......and getting caught LOL
At lunch I went for a walk near the lake through the trees.........needless to say the path was not plowed.......it was wonderful walking and kicking up snow as I did so.....and the snow was falling off the trees.......showering me with kisses........
As I was coming back in the building........one of the powerful heads.....was also coming in.....and asked with a smile, "Did you get in the way of the snowblowers?"
I was like huh?
Till I followed his eyes up and down my body.........I was covered with snow.......my gray slacks were sprinkled with powdered sugar........my shoes were frosted in white, my coat though not as bad had a dusting.........and worse of all I had snow on my cheeks and nose........
I started laughing so much I think he thought I was crazy.....and answered....."nope just playing in the snow"........
And I wonder why everyone here always calls me Kiddo LOL

This type of friendship is precious and should be one in which there is enough sister/brotherly love already invested in the friendship that the other person knows no matter what you are saying to them you are doing so in love and for no other reason.
AND it should go both ways.........the love you have between each other should be the foundation on which words of correction should be uttered.
IF you do not have this type of relationship with a person then sometimes the best way to show love is to lift them up in prayer and distance yourself from them.
Only by following God's lead can we ever really know which approach will be the most loving one to take.

This is generally my first route. There are people whom I have confronted straight on, and immediately, only to have them run around crying wolf, then I get it from all their friends as well. 
I don't have a lot of tolerance for this type of personality. And I openly admit that if you plan to dish it out, you best be ready to take some yourself. There are many many times when stepping back and waiting for a time of the Lord's choosing is better. The thing is that we must continue to pray, and we must continue to be alert for His whispers.

I agree with much of what you have said Sam.
I know in my experience when I speak truth to a friend in love the reaction is not always what I had hoped but the result is always of God.
I also know discernment must be used when and to whom to speak.........
I love Rach dearly and even though sometimes she doesn't like what I say and I don't like what she says we both know that what is spoken is done so out of love for each other.....AND a faith in the others person's love for and ability to hear the Lord.
There are others, whom I may notice a behavior or attitude which doesn't reflect the heart of God I know they have and I may say one or two things to them BUT I do not continue speaking of the issue if they have made it clear they are not receptive.
The relationship established is important.......because without the other person knowing how much you love them often the words spoken are not heard with the right heart and taken the wrong way.

Thank you so much for stopping by to say Hi.......I am actually on right now...and a little bored so I hope you are still on.........it would be nice to chat
I am at the library near the church where the girsl play basketall.........Sky had her game at 8 this morning and then K's is at 12. Instead of driving home I decided to come to the library.......I love this library.......it has huge picture windows, a fireplace and nice comfy couches.......
Last night a girlfriend and I hung out at her house talking about walking in the Kingdom of God while still here on earth.....it was a great discussion........the kind which activates your mind to really think....what do I believe and why.....
How is your weekend going so far?

Hey Joy...what a nice surprise!
My weekend is okay so far. I was going to go over to Cheboygan because I had bought a bunch of breads and such for my grandma, but with all the snow I'm going to be a chicken and stay home. At least it's cold enough that the bread is all frozen in my car. And it should stay that way all week.
So...hopefully I will get a good start at getting things organized and ready for a possible move.
