Yes! Praise Him that He has forgiven all our offenses! "He who is forgiven much loves much", said Jesus.

Back to Is Jesus REALLY Enough.. I say YES He IS! As he said in Mark...1-25:26...Jesus cut him short, BE SILENT!COME OUT OF THE MAN." At that , the evil spirit screamed and threw the man into a convulsion, but then he Left him. And I know I been there! And I Praise Him Every Day....Jesus is Enough for me..

When I look at this picture I see me.. I see myself having to take the penalty for sin and to face eternal death. It is Jesus taking my place! It is God in the flesh feeling all our pain and suffering and grieving for us. It is the Lord who knows all our sins. It is the very Lord who took them upon himself so that we might have a way back to God thru His great compassion and grace and thru our faith,,,

Oh how he loves you and me!

Is this enough? It is the gospel of salvation ,,, it is the love of God towards us,, it is enough!

When I was a kid seeing Christ on the cross used to make me sad.I thouhgt how could anyone do this to him.All I wanted to do was protect him, why couldn't anyone see who he was. I told him I was sorry that this happened to him and that we caused it. I told him if there anything in my life that caused this to happen to him please forgive me and I'm sorryand that I loved him. This was when I was six.

Now as an adult Istill think like that sometimes and I feel ashamed for my owns sins, but I also look to the cross as a tremedous gift and I thank him everyday for enduring so that I would not have to. I also am glad that he is now in heaven with our father looking after all of us.

If I saw Jesus on the street suffering like this, I would without heistation invite him in, let him take a bath, give hime apillow and blanket let him sleep, and some food as I would anyone.

Jodi! I absolutely love this. I think what you said right there makes Jesus say His sufferings were worth it. I'm sure He feels such joy knowing you had such kind thoughts about Him. Kep loving Him as you do. :)

I'm not certain how to interpret the question, "Is Jesus really enough?" in the context of His suffering.

I keep hearing the real underlying questions as: "Do you love Jesus even when He appears humble? Do you love Him even when He appears to be keeping a low profile in your life? Can you relate to the human side of Jesus at all?"

I think my answer to those questions, would be obvious. Of course Jesus, in whatever mood, deserves all your love and respect.

Way would we want to look at a picture of Jesus looking like this, when you know that his life now is siting on the right side of the Father. Its just like the cross, why look at the cross, he is not on the cross now and never will be again. We should look at our Lord as he would want us to be a loving world and want to tell others about his love and the new life that he can give.

Because the cross is where we witnessed the fullness of His Love. He willingly let Himself be taken and nailed there for all our sins.
Truly, there is no greater love than to lay your life down for another.

It's at the foot of the cross that we all find our faith and have it renewed. All the voices we hear in our society telling us G-d doesn't
care or he doesn't love us are proven to be the lie that they are. When we hear that voice inside us telling us that we are worthless
and G-d doesn't care about us, we only have to look at the cross and we know the voice is false.

He told Thomas to touch the wounds in the NT. In Revelation we are told He still bears the marks on His body even in the fuuture. We
won't be able to be free of the image of G-d on a cross for us because He wears the wounds from it as proof of His love.

Drink deeply of what He showed us one Friday afternoon. It will refresh your soul and spirit. A love that is unlike anything we
have ever experienced.

The mountain was out! I never grow tried of seeing the mountain after it emerges from days (and sometimes weeks) of being hidden behind the clouds. Of course, the mountain is always there. It’s just that we can’t always see it. Then I thought how it’s like that with God. He, too, is always there, but at times it seems as though He is hidden from us by “the clouds of life.” We feel we’re in the dark or that we’re alone. Then “the clouds” part, and we realize we’re not alone. In fact, we’ve never been. The Lord has been there all along. Perhaps, today, you’ve needed to be reminded of that truth. Look to the mountain and remember our great and awesome God! He says this in His word:

“…I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5b NASB).
