We made our music selections last night (finally!). My co-workers threw us a bridal shower at work today and we received the luggage we registered for! Yippee!! It's fantastic that we actually got them before having packed all of our things for the trip! Such sweet people... I will surely miss them all when we're gone. We still have a lot to do for the wedding, as we've been focusing on packing and cleaning up my apartment for the big move. It's really hard to do both at the same time! We should probably knock the rest of the wedding stuff out of the way first... so after another shower is over with tonight, we'll likely finish up the layout for the reception and work on the decorations some more.

I gotta make sure my parents call the limo company to secure our transportation! Today I am going over my list to make sure all the major stuff is done. I still need to arrange to find a place for alterations and I'm going to start on trying to make the slide video presentation. I will most likely use Powerpoint. I am also going to start making our music selections for the reception.

Whoohoo! 1 week from now! It's going so fast.

A couple of posters recommended the marriage bed website. I've been on there before. It is a good resource to go to.

I am sooooo lazy! I think I will watch some t.v. and then come back on the puter again and try again. I need to order part of my favors online and then start putting my pictures together for the slide presentation.

I get married in 5 days and 18 hours!!! And I just fininshed my music list! I had such a hard time picking songs that every one we enjoy!!! I still have a ton to do!!! i had such a hang up with the pastor that I am completly behind! oh I wish that this was over and then I don't!!!

Ok, I ordered part of my favors online today. We decided to go with the Tea Forte and my mom insisted on getting for me these glass tea pots to go along with it. It will be very nice! The guests will surely be treated! If it weren't for my parents paying for these fancy extras it would be much more simple.

I also e-mailed the Rabbi's son, who is doing the music for the ceremony the lyrics to our processional song and to our song right before the vows.

So, what about the honeymoon? Share please share! [:D] We are going to Cleveland to meet two of his siblings and to see where he grew up.

Instead of programs, I just decided to put details of the big day on our website. Not everyone coming has access to the site right now but I am going have a sign up sheet at the wedding for anyone who wants to see post wedding updates and access to photos.

We have less than 9 days to go. I know it sounds crazy, but I haven't really been thinking too much about the wedding. I haven't since the whole Japan thing came up! It's kind of taken over my thoughts. His too, I think, lol. [:D] We are so busy packing and moving and planning things for the trip there isn't much time for the wedding plans. Sigh. If only we had another week! We still have to finish decorations, find a cake, finish music selections, and the list goes on. Planning a wedding in three months shouldn't be a problem by itself, but with everything else we have going on, it's just CRAZY!!!

I am Married!!! Not without problems though! But all and all I had a nice wedding! I will have to blog about it later! butI just wanted to check in with the rest of you! And let you all know that even though things don't go as planed! Don't sweat it! It will all work out in the end!

Hey ladies, I found this thread a little late, but congrats to all of you that have already tied the knot and to those who will be saying their vows soon. I will be getting married on November 29th of this year and I am so excited. Things are a little bit crazy, I finishing my thesis in NC, my fh is working in PA, and we are getting married in Baltimore. But things seem to be moving forward and right now the biggest thing on my plate is sending out the invitations...everything else is pretty much done.

I am so excited for the day, but even more excited finally be married to the love of my life!

Sharon, where in Baltimore are you getting married?

I am very happy to be married! I don't have a lot of pictures but I do have a few that my now sister in law took! but i haven't post them yet! So when I get them up you all can see them! I get the rest of my pictures back in a few weeks! The photographer has a wedding in front of me! Which I can handle on waiting but it is going to take about 4 weeks to get them! i am not worried because I see him twice a week at church and bible study!

I thought it was funny that both your sisters were pregnant and the cake was cute and so was your church.

Anyhoo, congrats Lavida! Two Baltimore weddings. Yeah!

The pics are great L and P! And wow, only $1 for the cake topper? How cool is that...[:)] You have gorgeous eyes too.

Ok so one thing I gotta make sure I do this week is to find someone to alterate the dresses. My friends from Japan are here and since one of them can't make it in August, she had me put on the dress, tiara AND veil and took pics. lol!

Ok, one more thing. In just a day, FH and I found our place to live! Yay! [:D]
