Since this is the romance thread, I think this will fit here the best.
I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooove bass. I've played guitar for years but never really messed with bass much. Yesterday, Jared plunked a bass in my lap and showed me a basic line:

And it clicked. Suddenly everything made sense. He gave me some sheet music and told me to have fun. By the end of the night I was laying out bass lines that he couldn't believe. I couldn't either. I'm so happy

Oh yeah! My cousin's getting married in September, she's a waitress at a really amazing restaurant, and she's marrying a chef. She's spending most of the wedding budget on food, it's gonna be awesome!
