To go along with the "I have an announcement" thread started by mmartiandt: What is the worst drink you've ever had? The worst thing I have ever tried to drink was Pepsi One. This was during my dieting stage in life. Thankfully it didn't last very long.

worst drink? Assuming we are excluding medicines or any thing like that. It would have to be coffee. Any kind. It just tastes like moldy pond water to me. (or at least how I'd expect moldy pond water to taste.) Followed closely by V8 or any other vegetables disguised as beverage sort of thing.

A few things come to mind and they're all worth mentioning I think...... 1.Mixing everything in my refrigerator as a kid. It was something like coke, milk, orange juice, grapefruit juice, and ginger ale. One sip and I poured the rest down the drain. 2.Maple syrup. I'm counting it as a drink because I did try to drink a jug of it. I would have received $20 had I been succesful. But the end result was coming nowhere close to finishing and being violently ill for the next 3-4 days. I haven't had maple syrup on anything since. 3.Moxie. It's the soda that tastes like cough syrup. Around these parts, it's very popular so I have to watch what I say because people may get offended if I speak badly of the stuff. In fact, I was in a store once and had picked up a coke. Then some guy comes up to me and told me to put it back and that I needed a Moxie instead because it was so superior. I tried to politely decline, but he kept insisting. Crazy locals!

Both of my younger nieces get that Bug Juice all the time. They love it, but it looks too sickly sweet to me. Michelle, they're just a small bottle of funky colors and flavors...and loaded with sugar. Kind of like a high potent kind of kool-aide.

LOL you guys are so funny this morning! i love it! Can't really stand coke, pepsi, or rootbeer, but not really a big fan of soda / pop (which ever you perfer to call it...) and V8 is diffently up there on the top of the list too... and so sorry, but Mid-West water w/ all those minerals in it is rather hard to swallow... especially when you're from the Pacific Northwest ~ I always had to buy bottled water to drink

Some nasty imitation orange drink. I had it at some camp I went to in elementary school. They made it in a cut down 55 gallon drum.

The city water where I live is nasty and the stuff at my business is even worse. I always drink bottled water.

While I drink bottled water, it's usually just for convenience. They have a bottled water plant in my hometown, and the water tastes the same as it does from the tap. What are your favorite brands of water?

Oh yes, me too and my fav in Georgia is the Crystal brand but a friend told me they are not spring water at all and comes from Florida..well still to me, Crystal tastes delicious even after the information that he provide to me.. And about sodas I sure enjoy Coke and there are foods that must be washed inside with a Coke and even the healthy "burping" that may come after drinking it are all welcome. Well sure there are people that are very much loud and scandalous when burping, that is another nasty situation I may say. Ewwwww the serious burpers around us ewwwww...LOL

Had Gatorade once. Won't ever drink it again. I think that stuff has way too much sugar in it.

I can't recall the brand, but I had a beer from France once. It had very little flavour, but what it had was repulsive.
