Donna,
I take clomid in the beginning.... day 3-7, and then after I'm sure I have ovulated, I do progesterone. So, I didn't start the progesterone until last night. (per doctor's orders)

She said I should expect to have spotting, but I never did. Actually what she said was, "you may have spotting.......... well, you should expect spotting"

I was expecting it, especially with what we had to do to do the IUI, basically, I had to fight my urge to pull away from the pain, and instead push toward it... otherwise she said she might have to do something that would be even more painful. *ugh* She said that my cervix was being "shy" and "uncooperative" so it was a bit more difficult.

my main worry is that I will find out that I didn't actually ovulate this month, but I won't find that out until the end.

Today is CD 30 and AF still has not come to visit. I took a test less than an hour ago and it was a big fat negative so I don't know what is going on. Test again in a couple of days if AF still has not arrived.

Do you chart at all, Chelle? It's possible that you O'd later in the cycle than you usually do. Hard to say, guess time will tell.

No, I don't chart. Our son is only 19 months old so right now we are at the point of just letting things happen. As we get closer to January (his 2nd birthday) I will start doing those types of things to help us along. I hope to be pregnant by then, but time will tell.

This morning I awoke to what I am pretty sure is AF so does not look like we are pregnant. Part of me is relieved, but part of me is disappointed...if nothing else I still have time to try and drop 10 lbs before we do get pregnant.

Gina - Still thinking about you and hoping you are doing well!

Dropping weight can always be a good thing....can help with conception. Or not...just really kind of depends I think.

We're actively trying to conceive....have been so since last summer ('07). I know it will happen when it's God's timing though.

I am not feeling well. I don't know if I'm sick, getting sick, or what. My tummy is just not 'right' and I have a lot of cramps... but on the other hand, my temps were down a bit today, so that seems disappointing.

They day before my positive test, I was SURE I was getting the flu and that AF would also arrive any moment. So its not over 'til its over!! Still praying very hard for ya.

thanks, and yeah... it should be soon that we know one way or the other.

my temps have not shown a clear thermal shift though, even with taking my progesterone... so I have my doubts.

although, I do need a new battery for my thermometer, so anything is possible.

Gina, I know you said you think you have a cyst, but all hope is not lost :) I had a pretty massive cyst from the cycle I conceived Gabby, they are pretty common with pregnancy.

Well, from the looks of this month's chart, O day was day 12. Guess we'll see what happens....

Today I had quite a bit of pain (again). October will be here soon, then off to the doctor I go (again)....

Well my husband and I just discussed that even though we were going to stop preventing in Oct, it is not the right time for us. So we are moving it until April, but after April that is it. Since really there is not "right time". So here is praying that I find a job so I can move to this tread sooner. :) although, I don't want a Sept or holiday baby, so that is another reason for waiting until April. Is this too planned out? LOL!

My husband said he wants a 5 year old girl today... He said not 1,2,3,4, he only wants 5 and up. So I said, well they don't come out 5. LOL! And too bad, because I want a boy!

April sounds good... I think we are waiting until next December, I know there is no perfect time but I don't feel like messing up everything that is working so well right now.

Dec is good, but My husband, my brother and I all have the same b-day in Sept. My niece is 3 days before that. It is exciting and scary though.

We got pregnant in December last time, should have had a September baby(which I wanted) and instead ended up with an August baby. We have like 6 August birthdays and an Anniversary now, lol.
