I am still chuckling about the "ugly shoes" search! lol!

What was weird about that was every page in that search had the words "Karlie's collection."

LOL! Yeah, like I would believe that!

Hey Trish! I am just playing through my day so far. I do have dishes soaking in the kitchen sink though. Am I motivated or what!?

Karlie said something about the temperature being 90F. At the moment it's 40F, and supposed to be going down to 35F. I still prefer my temperatures, especially seeing as I'm heading to bed in a few minutes.

Right now here it is about 76 but not humid. It's beautiful out. Tomorrow it is suppose to me closer to 90 and more humid but for the most part this has been a perfect holiday weekend.

Trish, I always have to remind myself that your season is opposite ours. You are going into Winter.

Have a good sleep.

Hi Mike!

Hi Sharon, Happy Saturday to you! As far as weather, I always used to think that the whole world had the same weather patterns. That is I was told in school I thought that because the Earth is further away from the sun in Winter, that it is colder. No one told me that it was only the Earth's axix and that when we are experiencing winter that the Southern Hemisphere is experiencing Summer instead, go figure.

I'm right there with you Karlie.

I used to love Neil Diamond. Now I figure it was just a youthful indiscretion.

Steve, I'm almost speechless over the second pair.

I'll have to send the link to kate

I have heard from a source that Karlie just added THESE shoes to her collection.

She is also looking at these for the next purchase.
Steve, I like the 1st pair of shoes . . . I'd like them a lot better if they were flats

The 2nd pair . . .
Uhm, talk about a thong bunching up into itself

Kath, I guess I'm just still youthfully indiscriminate.

I guess I better look for some uglier shoes since you all like the first pair.

1
2
3

I don't see what is wrong with the first pair besides having a super-high heel.

I guess being a guy makes a difference in how I see shoes, they all looked pretty hideous to me.

Wow...busy in the korner today!

Hi Shar Mar, Trish, Sharon, Steve, Mike, Kath, and Catherine

So, uhm would such tush-kicking be done in those boots?

Hey, Mom can kick tush in slippers if needs be...she is no respecter of shoes when the deed needs to be done!

Hi Karlie. Ready for the reunion?

Hey Trish I just got home and had a great time. About 50 or so there and even though I only knew about half of them, it was still fun. Well, after the initial re-introductions to people I haven't seen since I was a kid(this side rarely ever gets together). I hate the usual "oh, your ________'s daughter. What have you been up to...how are the kids and what are they doing". Can't we just print those things up and pass them around?? But, I found my cousins I know well and we spent the day sitting around gabbing and eating, so it was fun.
quote:

Did you see any fireworks last night?

Just what we could see from home. We just felt like staying home. Kristen was gone and doing her own thing, so we didn't have any pressure to go do anything fun. Yep...we're boring

quote:

Those were both hideous, Batman! lol! Note to self: never take Steve shoe-shopping...

Actually, I like the first pair. With the right outfit, those would be great! I don't mind high heels though. The second two pair were uuuuugly!

Midnight is cute

I like the first pair.

I do not like the second pair.

The third pair frightened me horribly.

Karlie - glad you had a good time at the reunion!

I like some of his stuff, Solitary Man was one of my favorites, I played it over and over, but I never hear it on the oldies channel. :( and that song about America, I liked it too! It's just that he is over played on our oldies channel I guess.

It's a final self-evaluation essay. I have to write about what I learned, some of the challenges, a group work analysis and then give myself a grade and justify it.

Ohhhh...SharMar and Karlie are gettin' into it! I get to sit back and watch for once.
