I have it because I like some of the shows that are on it. Plus I live a pretty boring life, so it helps on the weekends.

You can get about half the channels free on line on the AOL website.

Yes, for XM anyway, which is actually rather a deterrent from subscribing to them.

I think the XM - Sirius merger will be approved. I wonder how they will restructure the channels.

I haven't had cable TV for at least 10 years or so. I don't miss it a bit. It seemed like every channel was either news, sports, weather or public access with an occasional raunchy music video channel mixed in.
we have cable thru verizon we have parental controls set so that we dont see the bad channels...all we see is adult channel... we have a few channels that make it worth it .. like discovery.. usa.. other hgtv.. stuff like that

satellite tv. We can't get cable out here, and even free tv has terrible reception, like less than 50% good. I could barely make out L&O
