This cracked me up. I can't even imagine having to wait at our PO! LOL They really have you take a number? Bizarre...

Yep...there's a number dispenser as you walk in the door. We have one post office in the town and about 50,000 people living here. Using a number system is the only way to avoid chaos. We so need another one. It's crazy in there sometimes. I usually do my post office stuff someplace else, like Staples mailing center.

Awww, thanks. I definitely find myself getting bolder in public. But that's okay. Maybe that kid will think about it next time he sees an elederly person in need.

Life as me is never boring, so I'm sure SharMar, you, and I will find some trouble where ever we go...LOL!

We can handle it...whether or not everyone else can is their problem!

Is there only one zip code where you live? I thought each zip code got its own post office.

Yeah, he'll be thinking "I'm glad that nosey blonde ain't here to make me get up again." Kids today have no manners because their parents weren't taught them. Just imagine what the next generation is going to be like.

Catherine, that cat looks possessed!

Yep. The P.O boxes are a different zip(one number difference), but all residential addresses are the same zip.

lol! You're probably right!

I still have never seen any cat as insanely ornery as Britt's last one. One of the vets she saw thought he had neuro problems because of his behavior. Trust Britt to get an abnormal kitten. He was over the top strange and mean and he was still not even full grown. I saw him in action my first visit out there and he scared me. I used to lock him on her bedroom when she'd go to work because I was scared of him roaming around the house. She ended up having to take him to a no-kill shelter because she couldn't handle him he was tearing up everything she owned.

THAT's it in a nutshell, Bill . . . and it's a very scary nutshell at that.

Karlie, that's just disgusting that nobody stood for that lady. It really irritates me when things like that happen. Good on you for saying something.

How could he do such a thing when he knows I don't get over there much anymore? How very unlike him. I better go see what the damage is

Hiya James! (and thanks!)

Shar Mar, I love Lambchop. She was Kristen's favorite character/toy when she was a toddler. Well, her and "Melmo" (elmo).

Thanks, guys!

In other news, I started a new class last night. A History of Western Civilization course. The syllabus said we had to know details of twenty-four terms and be able to write about five of them, only we don't know which five beforehand. We had a little mini-revolt in class about that and the prof agreed that you don't learn a whole lot when you cram all that info in at one time, so he modified the assignment to have groups of two write about six of the terms and present the info in class. That will make it SOOOO much easier for us, and I think we'll learn more this way.

The prof also said we are having a potluck dinner on the last night of class.

Sounds like a fun class, Steve. I enjoyed my history classes.

I really am ready to get back to school.
