Just remember that they are grading the grad student and not you. You should discuss your tuna and bacon neuroses, and your germ-phobia and ALL your other quirks, but that may take too long and use too much videotape.

Oh how fun would that be!! I so bet a grad student isn't ready for that one! I think my voices could have an argument. Steve and I could insult each other, Shar Mar and I could argue over shoes, Ben could sit there and point out all the supposed spelling errors, and Bill could threaten to send his guys after us all

Ohhh, there's a an idea!

I seriously have no idea what I'm going to say. Even if I wasn't being watched, it takes several weeks usually before people even feel comfortable to open up to a therapist. I guess I could go into all my "dad" issues...that's always one they like

Ohhhh yes! I do have lots for them to work with

I am doing my master calendar of when all my exams are and all my papers and projects are due and freaking myself out. Some months, I have 6 exams in one month! Not to mention all the other stuff due. What moron decided 18 units was a good idea??

Oh yea...that moron

On the upside...I get to take back one of my most expensive books! She said it was more recommended reading and not required. Well, I'll be lucky if I find time to to do what's required, let alone get into the recommended stuff. So, I'm saving myself $125 and taking that sucker back tomorrow!

I have a half page left on one of my papers and a couple pages on the other one. They both look icky so I may have to rewrite them. These have been kind of hard for some reason. Must be the motivation factor.

I'm glad you're saving yourself $125 Karlie!

It's back to school day in the Kompound!!

Gee golly Karlie, you got quite a load there. But you know what? I know you will kick academic "butt" this year.

Steve, for your motivation boost I recommend a peanut butter sandwich. I'm pretty sure, um, sorta sure, um, quite possibly I may have read that that is a solid solution to motivational boost.

$125 should get you some really cute shoes for running around campus shouldn't it? I saw some really cute Sketchers with a little bit of "bling" on them when I was shoe shopping this week.

I like the way you think More likely it will go for gas to get me to and from school I do have a pair of Sketchers...the backless tennis shoe style. I wear them with my denim capris when it's too warm for long jeans still, but too cold for open toed sandals, but they look a little clunky for me. I am giving some thought to these for between sandal and pant boot season. Not sure how they would look with capris. I'll have to try some on and see.

Karlie - did you just feel the earth shake where you are?

I sure do over here.

You and I . . . actually agreeing on a pair of shoes! Who would have ever had thunk it?

Hey y'all!

Those are pretty cute and very girly! The ones I saw were more like an athletic shoe but on the side there was a more ribbon affect with irridescent rhinestones on them.

I wish I could wear some of the other stuff without ending up with a backache after an hour.

I think I am going to head to bed. Josh is here and sleeping on the couch right now. We have to get up and going fairly early tomorrow. It's his last day of work in Oshkosh tomorrow.
I did get to have a steak last night. It was his idea and he was more than willing to grill it. I thought it was kinda late to do it but I am glad we did.

Have a good night Karlie and have a good day tomorrow. I will be checking in at some point to see about Donna and baby but other wise it will be a full day of work.

HI Sharon-Marie! I think it's pretty cute/funny that you both agree on those shoes. They really are pretty cute.

Maybe I'll consider a pair just to wear while I sit in a chair at home and just look at them LOL!!

LOL!

Don't tell, Karlie, Sharon . . . but I would wear those with skirts. I look for shoes that will be good for walking and/or triking.

But I wouldn't wear a skirt while triking; only while walking . . . past experience has taught me well.

When, I'm at home, it's a 99.9999% chance that I'm either barefooted, sock-footed or slipper-footed (but not shoe-footed . . . unless I'm either immediately walking out the door or have just immediately walked in the house).

Same for me. In fact I just bought myself a couple of pairs of Mets slipper socks. One bright orange pair and one black. So I'm set for the winter.

Hey - you could even interchange them with each other; wear one of each together.

Umm, Sharon, that may force me out of school altogether!

I just finished both of my papers, finally! Not sure if either one os A material, but at least they are done. So I'm off of school until Sep 10th, but there is an assignment due the first night of class and I'm waiting for the book, and the syllabus isn't posted yet.

I took a break this afternoon to dig up a bush in the front yard, Can you believe I broke TWO shovels trying to dig the roots up??? They were both older shovels with wood handles. I broke the handle on one, and the blade of the other one cracked and started to rip. No project is ever easy. I'm going to run up to Menard's later and pick up a new one with a better handle.

I've been wearing my birks around the house because we have ant issues at the moment. I don't like it when they bite me between my toes.
