Just wait till Sharon reads your disparaging remarks. She'll fix your little red wagon.

Well, what ya gonna do. When there is the resistance there is here to Macs, I guess all we can do is pray for them.

One of our sales people just bought an iMac. He told the Apple guy that he has only been on PCs for 31 years, how long will it take for him to catch on to the Mac...the guy told him about 30 minutes. That's a bit of a stretch but...
ALSO, I found out that if I would have bought new instead of refurbed I could have had an 8% discount from the company. I thought that was pretty cool. But I still am happy with my refurb. I saved more than 8 percent I'm pretty sure.

I am having to learn more about the PCs for work and I don't really like it. It seems like more steps to get things done but hey.

I'm listening to Carole King on PBS. She sure wrote some beautiful songs. Even as a co-writer on some.

That's cool, Boots...it's always good to have the shift you want. Britt used to love it on swing shift(called "mids" in the Navy, I guess). It just suited her internal clock well, I guess.

Our entire university is set up for PC, so I'd have to stick with that even if I wanted to change. Our mac users have a lot of issues getting homework submitted in correct formatting and accessing some of the computer programs we have to for school. I hate change anyway and will stick with it just to avoid having to learn a whole new system!

That's understandable, Karlie.

Swings is even a bit early for me. My internal clock is really more suited for graveyard shift (and always has been). The supervisor that I was just under (and the rest of the shift) just rotated to the graveyard shift, though. I can't take that anymore. I am on days now, and I start Tuesday. I have better days off, work with better people, and I can finally have a social life now. Swings kills my social life.

((((Boots))))) YAY!!

Hey Karlie, 60 minutes is doing a piece on how Japanese and the tuna. It's kinda funny really. They massage and talk to the tuna as they are cutting it up.

Just thought you would like to know.

Carole King just sang "You've Got A Friend" That is one of my all time favorite songs. Sung by her and when it is sung by James Taylor.
Showing my age, I know.

Yeah, she wrote some pretty terrific stuff. And you know, I'm not sure I have any of her albums. I may have one but I should see if I can find a hits CD.

Yup! Tapestry

I am listening to a really peaceful sounding rain that has started.

It's already getting pretty dark outside and it's only 7:30 That's always hard to get used to at first come the fall, the earlier dark time.

Well, I don't really feel blah, I just need to readjust my procrastination tendencies. Like if I wanted to run out to the store or something and don't want to be out in the dark... I need to get my rear in gear and get out earlier is all.

(((((Mike))))) Sorry you get Sunday night blahs.
I don't have to get up as early as you on Monday work days. Plus, I don't have some of the issues you have with work. I suspect that facing tomorrow is part of your night before blahs?

And give up your Sunday afternoon nap??? (Everyone does take those, right?)

Used to be Sundays were restful around here. Everyone took a nap. I'm finding they are kind of crazy now. We take so long getting out of church that Levi and sometimes Hannah fall asleep on the way home. I let them finish their nap in the van with the doors open, but that means I don't get a nap. And Brian seems to have a lot of visitors on Sunday too...probably because people aren't working? I should just plan on no nap and nothing getting done. No sense in being frustrated by it...but I am glad for Monday and the routine it brings back with it.

Yes Sharon, work is part of it. Also, thanks for the hug too! I am feeling a bit better than I was earlier. I cannot explain why, but I just am!
