That's cool. Yeah, I have gotten to where I don't get on here or FaceBook unless I am at work. I have too much going on otherwise. Kids keep me busy and when they are at their dad's I enjoy watching t.v. shows that I don't get to watch when they are home with me. Of course, then I have homework, jetting them to practices, games, other school activities, yadda yadda yadda.....

Jeannie, your car does sound cool! I'm sure it impresses all your son's friends

Steve, thanks for the explanation. I agree...that seems a little much!

I've had to cut back a lot too. Of course, I tied myself into a schedule where I have to be on top of the homework more than ever. I keep reminding myself just one more insane semester after this I'll go back to a normal load. I don't plan on taking so many units in my masters program.

LOL Sam! I know...it's taken me about 6 years to get to this point. I didn't take full loads in the beginning though. Kristen was still home and in jr high and high school and I didn't want to go more then 12 units and sometimes only took 6. I also took a year off between my associates and beginning my BS. Now I'm trying to make up for lost time, I guess I will finish my masters in the normal time though.

How are ya anyway, Sam?

Hey Guys! I hope everyone is having a great Friday. I've been a terrible thread hostess and haven't checked in

We're having wind storms like crazy here the last couple of days! When I was driving home from school yesterday, the dust was so thick, it looked like fog. No rain though...too bad!

WHN is off today so I declared this to be a no-homework day! We slept in, then went to run errands and things this morning, and went out to look at the house they are building right now. I like going out to see them in various stages. It's no where near done, but is going to be very nice. Now. I'm trying to motivate myself to get some housework and laundry caught up. My computer room is a mess

I just ended my first week on Nutrisystem and lost 6 pounds this week...woo hoo!

Hey, Karlie and guys!

I had today off, too! I spent most of it working on my assignments. This Excel stuff really isn't that hard. I'm actually having fun with it! I hope to have all my Excel assignments done tonight, but I still have some reading to do in the MIS book. I'm beginning to dislike procrastinating to the last minute and then panicking to finish homework, even though that's usually a better motivator for me.

Karlie, is there an opposite of Nutrisystem? I would like to gain at least six pounds.
And don't say McDonalds, Burger King, or Arby's.
Say ice cream and chocolate

I liked my excel stuff too, for the most part. I'm glad it's going well for you. You may be surprised at other things you use it for. Now that I know how to use it, I do more databases for personal and camp related things than I ever thought I would.

LOL........that was funny! If you ever reach him, slap him for me too! I didn't have any problems until about 2 or 3 years ago....when I stopped going out dancing with my best friend... Guess I need to find a new way to exercise or a new friend to go dancing with!!!

No lie! I'd help hold him down for you!

I looked at excel once but what I wanted to name the columns was too long. And I needed at least 30 columns (it might have been more, I can't remember, it was when I was on the school board) and it didn't go 30 across. I just got frustrated with it.

Actually Steve, years ago when my aunt was ordered to put on some weight, she had either a malt or shake just about every day.

Hi Everyone! This is really a drive by HI

Hi Sharon!

I was actually a little baby and kid...I was just a little over 6 pounds when I was born. But, then I grew up

What a coinkydink! I was 6 lbs 3 oz when I was born. My brother was 6 lbs 6 oz when he was born. I now weigh 220(ish). He now weighs 360(ish). We're both in the 5'10" height range.

Sounds like you were doing something wrong. Unless the names you were using were paragraphs long, all you should have had to do was widen the column. And Excel actually has practically unlimited number of columns. I've accidentally zoomed across too fast and wound up in columns labeled with double letters like AZ, which would be something like 60 columns wide. I use it every day, and have only had problems with how much a cell would display, not hold. Excel is really very easy to grasp the basics, but can also be very complex.

I have no doubt of that.

I didn't see that when I tried. I am sure it was there, but new things mess up my brain for a while, I get frustrated learning new things. I even bought the office 2000 for dummies book but I still couldn't figure it out. Dan took a class on Word in his senior year and they talked about Excel, but it was too late as the school where I was a board member closed and I didn't need it anymore.
