You're probably right . . . but I'm just not ready yet.

Denial is such a lovely experience.

true...you have to be ready to change. Until you're willing to come out of denial, I'm afraid there's nothing I can do for you.

Aww c'mon, Karlie . . . don't let fear stand in your way of anything.

You know that will only lead to more fear . . . and then, what a mess that will be.

Hey Guys!

I hope everyone's week is going well. It's turned to fall here, finally. Well, in the mornings and nights. It still gets way too warm in the afternoons to suit me for now, but fall is definitely in the air!

I think I totally bombed a test yesterday. Hopefully, I'll have the results tomorrow and know. I didn't leave feeling good about it at all. Only 8 more weeks after tomorrow left in the semester..it's flying by this time.

My mom is a hoot. She called me last night to ask when I'm graduating because she wants to plan something. I told her and she said "And you're getting your degree in social work, right?" Poor Mom...it's all the same to her!

That can be taken SO many different ways.

I'll just stick with the nice one for now...

Praying for you Karlie!

She's probably one of those people that think anything other than a perfect score is "bombing".

You must have learned from BBfan... half quoting...

I said I was taking it the nice way...

But thanks for the compliment! I've worked hard to be one.

Thanks Kath...me too!

Not so much this time. I'll be surprised if I got above a C. I haven't gotten a C since math class! It was kind of my own fault. His exams are extremely tough and I should have put a lot more time into studying for that than I did.

I agree with Kath....James is a brat!

I'm so bummed! My favorite scrapbooking store is closing down! It's actually the only one in town other than Michaels and that doesn't really count. But they are having 40-90% off this weekend, so I suppose I can stock up on a few things I use often. It's a great store though, so I'll miss it.

Some of you may remember some of us mentioning the blog of Nate, whose wife has CF. They had a baby in January and she had a double lung transplant shortly after that. She's been doing great, but now they have found out that the cancer she contracted(somewhat common in transplant patients) has not responded to her treatments, in fact, certain places have gotten larger and they think it's spread to her lymph nodes. I was just heartsick to read about that today. They have been through so much already and the baby is still so young. Here is the blog if you're interested. Please say a prayer for Tricia and Nate today. They had been told before that if she doesn't respond to this treatment, she is "in serious trouble", so they are obviously so discouraged today.

It's been awhile since I have been to their site. Read quite a bit just now, and totally melted at that video he made For The Mommy. That was so adorable. Both of them were.

I have no idea what it is about that family, but they've had me hooked from the beginning. I am just a little too emotionally involved for people I don't even know!
