I'm watching the end of AI

Karlie, I don't see AI, but I hear there's an Australian in there? I hear Michael Johns is from Perth, where I am.

Karlie, one of my first thoughts this morning was of you and wondering if you were acclimating to your new thread and was it helping to ease the loss of your old one.

LOL! I really had no idea how sentimental I was with the old one! Three years worth of fun, sharing, praying, goofing around, and kraziness! It was harder than I thought to close it. But as long as my friends(and Steve too)are here, it's all good

He's my very favorite too, Trish! He has a great voice and I love his style. I'm pretty sure he said he grew up in the states, but I'm not sure how old he was when he moved here. He still has an accent...not heavy, but you can definitely tell he's from Australia.

Oh, he's married. Kristen will be disappointed. She thought he was "so cute for an old guy"

Oh for the days when 29 seemed old!

LOL!

I remember 29. Actually I don't know that I'll ever forget it. It was when I found out I had 2 borderline malignant cysts that were 1'x1' each, weighing over 50lbs.

Yikes!

I remember being 29...mostly I define it by how old the kids were and what they were doing at the time. Britt was 9 and Kristen was 5. That seems like so long ago!

I don't even remember 29. I assume I was that age once though.

I'm with Sam, I musta been 29 at some time in the dim distant past.

Oh, and you do realize you will pay for your "very old and very cranky" comment in that other thread, doncha Blondie?

I seriously would not go back to my 20s for anything in world. 30's, maybe, but never my 20s.

I would go back only if I would know what I know now.

While I had fun in my 20's with professional soccer and stuff, I absolutely HATED being in my 20's and couldn't wait to turn 30. Now that I'm 3 years from 50, I'm looking forward to that too!

Considering I'm in my 30's now, I'd go back to my 20's but only if I could keep the knowledge I have now. Don't wanna go back to being ignorant if ya KWIM.

When I was 29, my girls were 7 and 5. I liked that portion of my life. But yeah, I think I'd stick with what I have now. If I went back, I'd have to relive the most painful portions of my life: they helped make me what I am, but I barely made it through as it was.

And who KNOWS what the next few years have for me?

Well, now being in my 50's I can honestly look back at even my 30's and see how much I didn't know.

I can't wait until I get really wise!

You're well on the way, Ben; you're already a wise guy.

I figure I would save Karlie some time by saying that first.

I got stiffed at work today. I place I was scheduled for ended up having zero, nuthin', nada to work on.

I think I'll spend the day working on the Eng Lit assignment due next Thursday. All these classes I am taking have assignments due before the first class begins.
