Campbell's pork-n-beans right from can are good and so are the darker ones with more molasses in them. We used to put the beans right on our hamburgers like you would lettuce/tomato.

Plaid? What's plaid? quote:
Plaid is also American English for tartan. Plaid is cloth made with alternating stripes and bands of color woven into or dyed onto the fabric. This makes blocks of color that repeat vertically and horizontally in a pattern of squares and lines. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plaid_%28pattern%29

Crumpet quote:
A crumpet is a savory/sweet snack made from flour and yeast. It is eaten mainly in the United Kingdom, but also in the nations of the Commonwealth. They're not sweet themselves, but the toppings can be... English muffin quote:
A Muffin (US: English muffin), also known as a Hot Muffin, or a Breakfast Muffin is a round, yeast-leavened form of bread almost always dusted with cornmeal. It may be eaten at breakfast in North America.

"American"???? But it can't be - lexie is Canadian and we were talking about Canadian exports. lexie, please say it can't be true, that you use an American name for this fabric? And do you really reckon that you were the ones who exported tartan to Scotland? LOL....unfortunately, sometimes the American English seeps into our language...we're trying hard to keep it out. (Actually in the case of plaid and tartan, we use both, depending on what you're talking about.) The plaid jackets I was speaking of are actually called Lumberjack jackets. It's a specific plaid, and a specific jacket! And a toque is a winter hat!!! And no, we're not taking back Celine Dion.

Just no to the bribe, or no to being familiar with Monty Python?
