Kinder surprises have a toy inside, rather than creme filling. I prefer them to Cadbury because I find the filling too creamy. Aero bars are British??? Mmm...I love Cadbury Flake!

ORIGINAL: zoebob Mild weather to me would be between 50 and 75 I think that's the point... we all have different ideas of what 'mild weather' would be depending on where we were brought up. When I was at school, there were girls from all over the world and they hated the humidity that we had to deal with in the summer months (the summer term didn't end until mid-July).

I'm not sure how much rain Oregon gets. I know Washington gets a lot of rain, usually at least once a day from what I remember. Most Californians will be lucky to see another drop of rain before Sept or Oct.

In Oregon it rains 8 months. We have a few 90/32 degree days and a few 30/0 degree days in the valley. We get a little snow once or twice a year. Roberta, that's one thing I really miss about the Bay Area. On the sign in Redwood City it says, "Weather Best by Government Test". LOL! That was one thing that was cool about San Francisco, you could just take a bus to a different district and the weather would be totally different. Sunny and hot in the Mission, foggy in West Portal, windy in Diamond Heights, raining in the Sunset.

Concord was hot last week. Temps over 100 degrees most days and overnights about 75-80. This week it has been nicer. Most of the temps have been 80s in the day and 50s overnight. I don't do heat well at all so I'm not looking forward to the next few months, weather wise.

But then we don't often get snow in April! It's generally gone by my birthday.

It's not a lot of snow though? We were discussing moving to Birmingham this coming September, but Dh got a job here that cancelled out the move. I'm a little sad about that. I guess it's still possible one day.

We were discussing moving to Birmingham Birmingham where? We can have a lot of snow. It does vary across the country greatly and different years will give different amounts of snow. First year I lived in this area, we had snow before Christmas, which I couldn't recall and the amount caused chaos on the roads. I don't remember it being so bad (in this area) since.
