Hey, can you drink chamomile tea? I always drink strong chamomile tea when I have menstrual cramps because it's a muscle relaxant (and your uterus is one giant muscle...yours apparently feels it needs plenty of training for this baby's birth). But I don't know if it's pregnancy safe...I bet Donna would, though I have no idea. I hate all kinds of tea.[:'(] quote:
Every hospital I've been to we had to go through the ER to get to OB. quote:
At our hospital you go to L&D triage if it's during the day and straight to L&D if it's at night. Interesting. My hospital is very small, and has 4 LDRP (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum) rooms. Usually you don't have to share with anyone either. I never have. After 24 weeks, you preregister at the admitting desk and then go to OB with any trouble after that. Being such a small hospital, they will send you by ambulance to a bigger hospital an hour away if they think you're having the baby before 36 weeks. I usually call ahead when I'm coming in for any reason because they might only have one OB nurse on and if there's a laboring mom, they'll call another in. Yes, it's that small.[8D]
